I'm bummed, actually. I think, based on Sharon's obvious unease, that her acceptance of Andy's proposal isn't a forgone conclusion, and that had Duff cared to show us the friggin' thing, it would have been a great and emotionally charged scene. And I'm mad at myself for really believing we were gonna get to see it.

This is why I never expected anything.  I never actually expected to see a proposal.  Technically, I didn’t.  I saw Andy kneeling down. No big speech, no answer, no glimpse at a ring.  I know how this show works and I’m happy to say I was not disappointed because I literally expected nothing.

She also "taught" women that it's okay to destroy the lives of other women with whom a husband has extramarital affairs, or sexually harasses, or even sexually assaults, so long as A.) that husband is her own, and B.) said destruction allows for her continued grab for power. Hillary Clinton is indeed intellectually accomplished, but she is far from a shining example for women.

No where in this post does it say she’s perfect, does it? No human being is. I know I’m definitely fucking not. And if she “taught” women what you claim, I think as a society we need to teach women, starting from childhood, to be stronger-minded, independent individuals. 

This is the type of thinking that gets people like Trump elected. Your opinion is noted but I think there are way bigger issues to be concerned about than something that occurred almost two decades ago.

According to my limited medical knowledge (read: what I remember from the movie "Something's Gotta Give," and which I oft repeat as if it's actually true), a person who's suffered a heart attack can have sex as soon as he or she is able to successfully climb a flight of stairs unassisted. Maybe Sharon will encourage Andy's rehab by standing naked at the top of the steps ��

To the best of my knowledge, once a person is cleared for physical activity, they are also allowed to have sex. That doesn’t take away the possible side effects of post-heart attack meds. But worry not, I am working on a fanfiction that describes the situation in my original post and I hope you’ll like it.

I, too, found this episode … meh (except for Sharon’s hair, which I thought was *finally* fabulous again). I haven’t even rewatched it. I fear I’m losing interest.

I can’t say that I’m losing interest but I’m getting less and less invested in the show. I won’t stop watching it, but... idek how to describe the feeling. I used to have trouble falling asleep on monady night, knowing that there’s gonna be a new ep in a few hrs. Now I fall aslee like a baby. Does it explaine it?

I just need a strong female lead to be really excited about a show, and what we have on MC is an empty shell of what should be just that.
