It's so preeeeetty. *-* It took me a second to not freak out because I browse with teeny tiny Windows (I always have a million different program windows up) an it didn't shrink to it BUT IT'S PRETTY.

So, last year about this time I was having panic attacks about returning to work because I had the shittiest job and the most awful boss - Ugh, I cannot even begin to tell you how miserable I was.

But in the course of the year, I busted my ass scouring the earth for a new job, got it, finally escaped the hell I was in, discovered Once with my new allotment of freetime and sanity, found tumblr, lost my sanity again for piratey-swany reasons, wrote my very first fic, joined a really cool community of people, and made some awesome new friends. And for a girl that doesn't really make friends, that is huge.

So, thanks for helping me make the second half of 2013 really great! Happy New Year!

OMG BAST!!! like, i love him so much and i don't know why because we really don't know a whole lot about him...maybe that's why i love him?? gah BAST THOUGH!!! :D

I KNOW! I just, I know next to nothing about him and yet. SO much potential you know? I'm SO excited to find out more about him! Also, he kind of has some of the best dialogue in the books.

2. What are you reading right now?

Deathless by Catherynne M. Valente, Republic of Thieves by Scott Lynch (Both of these are SO overdue!! But I got distracted by vacation :P) and almost done with The Bloody Chamber by Angela Carter (SO GOOD!) and started A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson (Good fun so far!).

12. What is your reading comfort zone?

Hmm, probably Fantasy, Sci-Fi and Historical stuff. I seem to read a lot of that. And also, Classics? I don’t have a better word for that. :/

33. Most intimidating book you’ve ever read?

Most intimidating book that I haven’t read, War and Peace. Most intimidating book that I managed to finish? For some reason I can’t think of any! I think the intimidation goes away once you’re done with the book.

Mmm, I remember being apprehensive about Game of Thrones! And also The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, which thank gods I read! It’s absolutely beautiful and one of my favourites now.

grace i just read your tags and i am here to tell you that I love everything you write and I don't know WHY you would ever be insecure because you are SUCH a talented writer!! and I love you because you share my second otp (emma and killian's scars, i have serious feelings about this and i want to write all the things about it) and you just really and truly shouldn't be insecure ever. that's all. :)

omg I need to write emma/killian's scars/floor. like maybe killian lying shirtless on the floor snuggling with floor and a pillow and emma noticing his scars and sort of touching them and asking questions and stuff and he's just quietly talking with her even though it hurts but it also feels like cleansing telling her all of this and then she kisses every last one of them until all he feels is her lips instead of the pain wow this is getting out of hand it started out cracky and now it's getting serious

um anyways. heh. yeah. THANK YOU DARLING
