I started homework at ONE PM. It is EIGHT PM and I am just now finishing. I have only taken minimal breaks how the fuck did I make a 39 question worksheet take SEVEN HOURS.

another probably stupid question LOL

ok so i do write. i have written for a while, i roleplay, i've written a play and poems and whatever, the whole shabang i guess.

however, i do not think my literate capacity has reached its fullest. and i recognize everyone can grow from where they are, but i dont know how. i want my books to feel almost like a novel.

i'm sick of using repetitive words and basic sentence structures within my works. my writing sometimes feels childish, but i want it to be mature. not shakespeare or old english, but obviously well developed.

i want like.... almost the vibe of a YA novel — not too sophisticated, but clearly professional and could be enjoyed by a large group of people (in terms of people who enjoy all qualities and people who are looking for something polished).

and i am unsure of where to start in terms of expanding this part of myself. it's hard to explain bc im not sure if it hits the point i'm trying to make, but i suppose i'm looking for more tips and people who can relate about looking for ways to expand my "narrative writing style" i suppose.

Like that someone has all the story planned and main characters but now is just frozen because of an extreme low self-esteem and the fear of never finishing that hypothetical comic
