200127 - Monday, 9:15pm, 9:23pm.

what the studyblr wants to look like VS. what the studyblr actually looks like.

i had a lot to do tonight! my psychology teacher, once again, gave the class an essay at 3pm today that's due for 11am tomorrow, and two spanish essays which didn't get done, but i made progress on them and that's what matters.

i wanted to show the difference between what studyblr normally shows, and reality; what studying actually looks like for me. it's messy, chaotic, and there's usually sheets all over the table - but that's what seems to work!

190904 - Wednesday, 2:56pm, 11:17pm.

kit vs procrastination (feat. the fun college pointer pen).

i think i'm finally getting into a decent routine at college! the café we have has such nice tables, the slate-grey/wood/navy blue aesthetic they currently have is a really good look; it reminds me of the beach!

my timetable on a wednesday makes it really difficult to sit down and study properly, so i haven't done a whole lot of work today - but i signed up for my college's new student union! that means i've had some success today, even if it wasn't the type of success i was hoping for this morning.

200121 - Tuesday, 8:40pm.

i got given quite a lot of work today, so working through it steadily whilst listening to a podcast with sacha dhawan seemed like the best idea - and it worked!

my goal for the next two weeks is to post here every weekday, with new notes and/or bullet journal spreads - so we'll see how that goes! catch my bujo there trying to creep into my posts like it's creeping back into my life

200122 - Wednesday, 2:40pm, 4:02pm.

today was quite a chill day, so i took some time to do some journal pages, and start planning ahead for later in the year.

the unfortunate thing about this journal in particular is that although it's a moleskine, the paper isn't very thick at all - meaning anything i do that isn't in pencil leaks through, especially if it's from a lovely inky black pen :(

however, it means i can learn from this experience and buy a journal with thicker pages next! every cloud has a silver lining, right?

190908 - Sunday, 5:39pm, 7:50pm, 8:20pm, 8:39pm

i'm kinda disappointed that i didn't post yesterday - but i spent most of the day finishing s2 of élite instead of being super duper productive. watching a netflix show in my target language counts as productivity, right? right?

anyway, today was a bit more back-to-normal. liberalism notes through the early afternoon, and translating some slides on Franco and Francoist Spain later in the evening.

we have beautiful skies where i live, and i love getting the chance to catch them on study breaks - that's the sky just before 8pm, so the nights are really drawing in now! also, my dad burned some old things we needed to get rid of, and i thought the fire was beautiful too. i'm finding myself appreciating nature more and more recently, and i really like it :)

190905 - Thursday, 9:53am, 4:22pm, 11:23pm.

today's been a tough one: lots of work, lots of lessons, not a lot of sleep - but i got through it! all thanks to an early morning coffee

lots of politics work today! one of my politics teachers assigned a HUGE factfile to help us get some basic knowledge of us politics before we start studying it properly, so that's taken up a huge chunk of my time.

i also finally got to start my new psychology topic, which i'm already loving - so all in all, today's been a pretty decent day.

190903 - Tuesday, 8:12am, 11:19am-2:17pm, 11:03pm.

second day back, and a lot of gaps in my timetable! i think i've had the most coffee i've ever had in one day today, all before midday, but it was nice to have a study buddy this morning! my friend was studying for his psychology mock whilst i was going answering some more spanish comprehension questions.

it's been a very language-based day, too, so i felt like i needed to balance it out with the start of my new politics unit - the usa! just a little bit of basic us political history, nothing too strenous for 11pm.

today's been a good day, and although i do miss my sleep, and the sun, it is nice to be back in college and have some routine.
