hello! i've decided to start posting on here for my last semester before i graduate from uni (what???) bc i always feel so motivated and inspired when im active in the studyblr community!

i've been away for like a year but i used to be superrr active here and on studygram when i was doing my gcses and ibdp!

im from the uk

in july i'll be graduating with my degree in criminology and sociology !!

im doing my dissertation on the perception of public opinions on crime sentences in england/wales !

im super interested in social theory so i think a lot of my posts will be about that

my emotional support social theory is functionalism bc for a while in first year it was the only one i could both remember and understand lol

my favourite books are: wide sargasso sea, we have always lived in the castle, slouching towards bethlehem, cleopatra and frankenstein, on the run (gothman), twilight :)

my favourite tv shows/films: twilight, to all the boys i've loved before (all 3), fleabag, normal people, orange is the new black, gilmore girls, gossip girl, cmbyn,

i have noooo idea what im doing after i graduate but im trying to be okay with that / figure it out :)

002/100 Days Of Productivity - 13082023

I have a love-and-hate relationship with Sundays. I feel like it’s a day when you can rest but also take care of yourself and your home, which can mean the same thing sometimes.

This morning I went to the grocery store, and I cooked a delicious Italian oven pasta for lunch. I also called my mom.

Tonight I worked with my bestie on our projects, and it feels good.

Things I need to do and did:

Make a nice desktop set-up for my pc

Clean my pc and iPad

Create that notion template

Find a job

Finish that book

today was a Long Day™️

spent my afternoon working on next weeks seminar prep for my favourite module instead of doing coursework that’s due in tomorrow. i will now be spending my night in the library getting that done :( ft a photo from my visit to York this weekend!
