After reading this it totally makes sense. If “Hi High” was our “introduction” to Loona then something like “Bye By” Could’ve very well be our “farewell” to them. As in possibly seeing how and why exactly they were all separated to begin with. This has a bit of a darker vibe in comparison to their debut title track. And as we all know by now (if “XX” is a repackage) all of the repackage albums or a darker take on the one before it. Such as “Love and Evil”, and “Max and Match”. I also once heard somebody say that if in their debut album they come together as a group, then the repackage is where they fell or fall apart.

I don’t know why but someone’s post on Twitter about how loona was formed gave me the idea that maybe the idea of how the girls were picked into loona is also consumed into the loonaverse.

A theory that I have for loona the ballad is that the time line might be around the time they created the solo or when they found each other during ++. Reasons is that the logo goes left to right and the photos are the same photos when they debuted with ++. I also believe it might be during the solo time line because the ending has no real sign for example, we had ++, X X, and now # but for loona the ballad there is no sign 🤷🏻♂️.
( I also wanna add they also didn’t show yeojin so it makes me think it was when they had the solos with the units)
