Black fabric swept silently over stone floors as taloned feet drew her closer to the throne where the king with the horned helm sat, Drathenia carried herself with purpose and pride, brazen even in the presence of Sauron himself. It was not out of disrespect, his reputation had proceeded him and she was not ignorant. But if there was one thing that she wanted to make clear, was that he was no king of hers. What he was, was a threat to the balance that she laboured to maintain.

Standing before him at a well-measured distance, there was no offer of a sweeping bow. Rather, she simply gave a polite inclination of her head. While he was not her king, there was no denying the power that emanated from his being. Thus, she prescribed the respect appropriate, from one deadly entity to another. 

“Lord Sauron,” She greeted, voice smooth and rich as velvet. “I come to you out of concern, and implore you to reconsider.”

Telvido tilted his head to the side, considering what had been said to him. “Perhaps in terms of brute strength,” he said with a purr in his voice. “But regarding intellect, your mutts are as mindless and rowdy as your Orcs. Really, it’s a wonder they haven’t turned on each other by now!”
