I don't think you ever explained how Link became a Zonai

I have briefly in other posts but here’s a full description of it and my headcanon for it

Link became a Zonai due to Rauru’s cells overtaking his Hylian ones while Link healed himself. This process proved to be quite painful, especially when it came to his spine and skull. This all caused quite the identity crisis for Link, and made him isolate as much as he could. It wasn’t until the transformation became too much to ignore that he sought help from Purah; even then, he tried to hide this change from all in the kingdom. His transformation was completed after he found out the truth of Zelda, staying on top of the Light Dragon for a week straight before storming down to Hyrule castle to confront the one who hurt his princess so.

Link still looks a lot like himself, but there were many traits of Rauru that melted with his own. The white of Rauru’s hair streaking Link’s blond locks. His droopy ears and fluffy chin, and even a small amount of his height. Though half of Link’s markings come from Rauru, the others come from his past lives; with the forehead marking from the Hero of Time’s Feirce Deity mask and Hero of Twilight’s cheek marking, tying the Zonais claim to be divine even more.

It took months for Link to become a full Zonai compared to Zelda’s near instantaneous change, so he had more time to process it than Zelda. Link still suffers from chronic pain from the transformation and struggles with his identity, but he’s surrounded by comrades and loved ones who won’t let him fall. He will never become Hylian again, but he’s still Link, the Hero of The Wild

The glorious return of the SBSP x TMNT 2012 au- with some doodles of lore :)

This takes place before they meet the turtles but after discovering the Kraang— and they’re training to be the defenders that Bikini Bottom needs since the police and everyone else don’t believe them about the Kraang. The thing is, they’re a group of fast food workers, an outcast scientist and freeloader guy, the local psychopath, and a lifeguard…so they’ve got a long way to go, regardless if time is on their side.

Guardian Outfit Lore

"Being a Guardian is no easy task, in the realm of combat, every race is trying to evolve in the realm of warrior. And in recent years, a new magical breakthrough has allowed for a unique experimental form of magical armor!"

(Aka, an excuse to give them magical girl style clothes) There are three parts of of this new magical 'armor', The Undermesh, the magical 'armor', and The Trigger

The under mesh is a special fabric that acts as the base for the armor. This is also made from a special fabric that is able to warp and change size, allowing for an instant transformation (Some examples)

Let's stick with these 2 on the left. The second part is basically the armor, the clothes, outfit, or whatever the user is wearing is a magically enhanced costume, (Funfact, I based the first outfit off of pringles and the other off a carrot)

Now you might be wondering, "Well, why do you need an entire 'mesh' underneath your clothes if they're gonna get covered up anyways?" And that's a good question related to the gimmick I've got going on!

It's the layer with the most magical protection so your not just relying on the other layers

It's so the user can use the other parts of their costume to enhance their weapons and so people aren't fighting naked lmao

It's used to enhance the size and power of the weapon the user has

Each piece can be used to enhance the weapon, so hypothetically, if you need to use your skirt to multiply the power of your spear, then you can just do it, no worries!

The third part is The Trigger, which are these shiny little things

These magical gems hold the armor and magic. There's not much to say other than these are great for non magical creatures and are generally compact. These allow people to transform in a flash and cary around their armor at all times. You don't want these to break, they're a pain to replace (I'll try to draw the main crew with new outfits for this! And sorry about the lack of art this month! I'll do better I swear!)
