First off? Wow, second off? WOW.

Obviously my thoughts post on episode 16, WOW! That was a ride and I love this episode now, is it on par with the latest Jabberwock episode for me? Maybe.

Spoilers for episode 16 + a couple theories maybe?

I took so many god damn pictures OH MY LORD. First off I want to talk about episode 17 because like????

WHAT DO YOU MEAN “WAVES OF LOVE” AND THE MC IS IN A CUTE DRESS WALKING TOWARDS A LIMO!!! I hope… I hope I hope I HOPE there’s more romance. To speak on that for a moment? A dump of all my favourite moments.

Lyca is so adorable, I’m so happy we got a cameo from him AND the best mini storyline. His rivalry with that fox is so funny, when he leaves and shouts “shaddap! We’ll finish this later, dumb fox!!!” I was giggling. He is just so cute lmao. Don’t even get me started on the formal introduction to Elias, he even calls the mc “dear heart” which is just UGH 💕

Kill me 💀 crying and throwing up at these screenshots. You can’t tell me “waves of love” isn’t going to have more “romance” with photos like these. On a real note, I know there won’t be any romance… but a girl can only dream. I’ll have that Ritsu photo till the day I die.

Aside from my favourite moments, I’m glad there’s more explanation on Hyde as a character. Even outside of this episode, you can tell that Sho does not like his brother or atleast doesn’t want the mc caught in his mess. He doesn’t like it when they mention him at all. This appears in his affinity 10 story I believe, where (spoilers) Hyde wants you to give Sho a gift and Sho just tells the mc flat out that they shouldn’t accept anything from him. I do not like Hyde at all, I saw someone point out in the discussion tab on the episode that Hodge and Podge were mad at Hyde for tricking the mc, so they made a warding card. I want to see his downfall so bad because poor Romeo has to suck up to him.

Also that whole thing with Haru being in Dionysia? WOW. Honestly I’ve been guessing that he was apart of Sinostra for the longest time because he’s just a litttle bit greedy and he knows how to sway customers. After seeing what kind of place Dionysia was, it all comes together. Honestly I think Haru transferred because of Towa… I am a firm believer in the theory that Towa is the male mermaid that Hyde spoke about (I hope there’s more insight into who supplied the mermaid flesh btw, that is reallyyyy interesting). If I were to say anything I think Towa was transferred into Darkwick a year prior, liked Haru because of his whimsy, and Haru transferred to Jabberwock to look after Towa to put it simply. I’m just over here making assumptions so don’t quote me hehe.

I’m writing this very late at night so I will expand on everything if I forget something. Overall I loved the episode, I’m not super hard into analyzing stuff because I go based off of feelings. Trust me I will watch the worst movie ever and still find enjoyment in it.

Weird theory thing up ahead? Idk just my thoughts while rereading episode 3. Focused on Ren and my question pertaining to if he knows Sho :P

So I’ve been reading the story for a year and a half atp and I find it interesting that Ren calls Sho a burn out. It’s a prominent thought of his whenever he sees Sho, and it got me wondering, does Ren know him? Ren focuses on Sho a lot, like I mean A LOT! He doesn’t really acknowledge Leo, or any other first year. He talks to Lyca even though he’s known as a monster throughout the school, why doesn’t he avoid him? He hangs out with Ritsu, and Ritsu is a little morally corrupt, but they’re friends. He doesn’t hang out with Leo for obvious reasons, but he brushes him off compared to when we see Sho. I don’t know, I find it interesting. He doesn’t give anyone else a nickname like that and he avoids him like the plague.

S2 Ep2 thoughts, spoilers… obviously

First off, I just want to say how happy I am that we now have a canonical LGBTQ character. Jo is so pretty, and they have the potential to be one of my favourites. I made a “dumb theory” with my friend about a month ago that Jo crossdresses, AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE TRUE?!?! What a pleasant surprise, but what made me happy is how Jo doesn’t care about who they are?

AGHHHHHH TT so pretty, they make me wanna cry…

That was the main takeaway from the episode for me, but the biggest one was probably that Elias is suspicious as fuck. He’s incredibly beautiful, but to me it was very obvious that he was the one who took the anomaly from the containment facility, and Shion willingly took the fall? My friend also suggested that Elias could’ve been a suspect for the one eyed sleeping beauty murder, but Shion could’ve taken the fall, which I find interesting. Jin tells us to be careful of Elias, rather than Shion who has threatened to kill us two times already… but atp who hasn’t.

“It’d be a shame to lose it” SO WOULD MY LIFE?!?> absolutely insane lol.

The amount of fan service there was in this episode.. phew 😮‍💨 like Shion calling the mc HIS DAMN WIFE! HELLO?! WE JUST MET 5 NANOSECONDS AGO.

Another friend also theorized that Shion could be the mermaid, which is not totally insane to me now, knowing his relationship with Haru. I want to call back to episode 7, when Hyde told Haru that a different mermaid outside of Mortkranken got hurt and he looked deathly scared. I’ve always thought it was Towa, but he has alot of evidence pointing to be a demi-god of sorts, and Shion has some qualities that point to being non-human imo? Someone can debate me on this, I just thought it was cool because I’m interested in WHO THAT DAMN MERMAID IS!!!!

Anyways, those were my thoughts. They weren’t much, but I enjoyed the episode a lot aaand I can’t wait to see what happens with the Dionysia ghouls! They’re very interesting, and I would talk about the timeloop theory but I am currently writing this in a hurry. Until next time ( >3<) ~♥︎

Okay so I haven’t been back in a week I think? Christmas had me so busy, but I read the episode last night…

So here are my thoughts cause I am heartbroken! Spoilers for Ep. 24, obviously

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I liked the gala sequence. Mainly because I love seeing the characters interact. There were a few moments I laughed at, like Towa pulling Ed’s arm off and Ed takes this tomfoolery💀

HE GOT VIOLATED SO MUCH THIS EPISODE, ITS SO HILARIOUS. JIRO SHOVED HIS FINGERS DOWN HIS THROAT, LYCA THREW HIM OVER THE SHOULDER.

He makes me laugh, he’s so fucking cute. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. I WAS SO DISTURBED WHEN THE MC WAS SCRATCHING HER THROAT AND SHIT WHEN TURNING INTO THE KYKLOS. Btw I was suspecting why that happened, because the mc is supposed to have a year. The “dream” she had about turning into the kyklos was most likely what happened in another timeline, atleast I think so. I can’t tell, but since the institute doesn’t know anything about the kyklos, it’s probably why they got it wrong. There’s probably a better explanation, but my brain is too tired to look for clues.

When the monkeys paw dropped into Kaito’s hand I didn’t breathe. I WAS SO HORRIFIED. I’m not the best writer, but Jin and Tohma’s scene where they reveal that it’s a monkey’s paw, and the anomaly was released to kill that girl was so perfectly horrifying.

The thing is that I knew someone was gonna die, because a friend on discord said it behind a spoiler. I was curious, and I didn’t know who would die so I was really freaked out that it was gonna be Lyca or Ren. I didn’t tear up much, because I can usually sense when deaths are permanent or not, especially in a game like this where Kaito being killed off isn’t gonna stick. I was still really sad though, but I hope to god that time loop theory is real. The prologue sequence is different than what happened, so this can’t be the timeline that ends it all. The amount of fan art I’ve been seeing with Kaito x mc is so heartbreaking, all he wanted was to dance with her.

What made me cry is when I saw Lyca’s scared face

HE ACTUALLY MAKES ME CRY SO MUCH. I DONT WANT HIM TO BE SAD OR TERRIFIED. THE WHOLE THING WITH LYCA POTENTIALLY EATING NEROS IS SO SAD TOO. Personally, I don’t think Lyca killed Neros. If he did… 👀 that’s not stopping me, he’s innocent in my heart. Lyca talks like Neros is still alive, so I’m thinking that he was taken before he knew of Neros death. It seems like Lyca wasn’t near Neros when it happened, because they suspected him of the murder, and that he was the most likely culprit. Is this me coping? Maybe. I love him.

Anyways, fuck hyde, Romeo should’ve shot him. I know Romeo admitted to being used, but it’s not enough for me. SHOOT HIM, HE’S RIGHT THERE DAWG OHHH MYYY GOOOOD.

Ren was a bit of an ass, but I’d be pissed if I had to go to DW because I was a ghoul, put into a house with a captain that violated my boundaries, a vice captain that doesn’t hide the fact that he hates me, being put into constant danger, and feeling like there’s no sane person around me. I did get pissed at him though I’m ngl. I was really sad when Haru wanted Ren to feed peekaboo while he was injured, and he just kinda fucked off, I get it but 😭

Subaru is sketchy as fuck. Everyone knows this by now, and I still love him, I’m just waiting for him to crack. It looked like he was ready to go off on Professor Mobius when he was telling Subaru he had to stay back to gain more trust. I wanna fry that fucking octopus omg. If I was in Subaru’s position, I’d tweak tf out too. That boy has no light in his eyes, and he just took the bullshit so he wouldn’t get apprehended for doing some insane shit. Lyca has been making such a huge effort to fit in, and everyone treats him like he’s a monster when he helps everyone out. He’s so sweet, and if he could read he would be such an academic weapon. He loves learning, and he has a great memory. Anyways, I just love that cutie pie so much AGHHHHHHHHH.

So yeah these are my episode thoughts 😻 I hate the fact that I have to wait another month for season 2. I’m actually writing an au rn, but everything got so busy in December that I barely had time to write it, plus I got stuck on Jin. Jin is hard to write for cause he’s such an ass, and I love my emotional men.

Ok so this is one of Jiro’s affinity dialogues, I got this from the tokyo debunker wiki page. So I actually have a little theory, which may totally be wrong but I really want to tell people about my idea. Spoilers for Episode 9!

Ok so I had a little idea that Jiro first started learning about medicine because of their younger brother that has passed away. I’m not exactly sure how their younger brother died, I have a memory of Zenji saying that he was sick but it’s probably false and I’m remembering wrong, but from this dialogue we know that Jiro took care of him in some way that he may not remember. I was reading through character dialogues and saw this character line. So I just had an idea that Jiro started to read through medical books in order to take care of him, and has carried on that habit. I think it makes sense, I mean there are hints that they all used to be a close family when they were all alive. This mini theory makes me so sad, I wish they had more fortunate endings, I need a happy ending when this is all over because my heart can’t take any less…

Here are lines that I think fit him

Yuri obviously covers up his true behaviour with one that acts like he’s better than everyone. It’s easy to make his persona crack though. Especially when those students made comments about Yuri leeching off of Jin and still failing in his job. He’s insecure about himself and he doesn’t want people to see that so he covers it up. It’s the saying “fake it till you make it” where he acts like this so he can hopefully feel like the best doctor in the world someday.

Here are some voicelines from the Tokyo Debunker Wiki that also support this.

He’s smart and capable, but he’s also a perfectionist and he throws things out if he thinks they aren’t good enough for his abilities. The doctor in Mortkrankens most recent episode thought his paper was amazing, but Yuri didn’t submit it. It may be obvious, but I think Jiro submitted his paper for him. Jiro has signs of showing that he thinks Yuri is a good doctor, and he may have submitted that paper because he knew it deserved to be looked at. He may not have submitted this paper because he didn’t think it was up to his standards.

Yuri doesn’t want to be liked by people, he just wants to work and prove that he’s the best to everyone. He wants to prove to himself that he’s good enough. Could this be related to his mom? Maybe, now that I’m looking back on his voice lines. It seems like he loves his Mom, or at the very least respects her. I think he attributes success in regards to his mother, he did mention that he “failed once” and maybe it was connected to her in a way.

Anyways I just wanted to get this out because I thought about it randomly. I posted this in my guild’s discord, but this has some added on info that I just came up with. I really love Yuri, and I want to find out more about him. I empathize with him, at least a little bit with being a sensitive person and his “fake it till you make it” attitude. I demand more Yuri cameos!
