Does Vidette do anything specific for the hotel :0
Like a receptionist or something? Or just a patron
Eats her behind ur back who said tha
Charlie: Yes, actually! Vidette is not only a resident looking to be redeemed, but also a member of our staff!
Vaggie: She's sort of a Jane-of-all-trades around here, since most of the jobs are already filled. She mainly helps out in the kitchen prepping meals for the hotel, does whatever it is Alastor asks her to do, and mans the font desk once in a blue moon when I'm taking a break.
Charlie: We try not to have her at the front desk unless she's 100% about it, though. She's got...
Vaggie: Severe anxiety disorder? rejection sensitive dysphoria? Autism? PTSD? A people-pleaser to a mentally and physically detrimental level?
Charlie: ...Tendencies to have a nervous breakdown at the prospect of disapproval...!
Vaggie: Whiiiich doesn't bode super well when half the potential guests are rancid Karens. That's why we usually keep her in the kitchens. That way, she can have her music, it's quieter than the lobby, and Husk is just on the other side of the door if she needs something.
Charlie: Alastor and Angel have been teaching her some family recipes, and she's really excelling at it! We can hear her blasting broadway in there sometimes, but unless she's in a really good mood, she doesn't often sing with much confidence if she knows someone can hear her.
Vaggie: Charlie and I were a bit preoccupied at the time, but Husk had been with her and Angel during the battle, and from what we've been told, she'd be pretty dang formidable if it weren't for the fact she's afraid of her own full-demon form.
Charlie: BUT!!! We're working on that with ✨confidence exercises!!!✨ Plus, Alastor's been helping her come out of her shell a bit on his own time outside of the redemption activities!
Vaggie: Which is either endearing, or highly suspicious depending on who you ask...
