Absolutely, I use very little CC in the Castaways, all bodyshop, except for a few hacked objects. I love BaCCs! I’ve been playing mine for over 6 years and haven’t even reached 10% of the population goal, haha, but I’m still enjoying it mainly because it allows a lot flexibility for how one wants to play. I look forward to seeing what you come up with :)

@lorinsv I was so into the idea of megahoods and uberhoods that I used to ignore different challenges, BaCC included, but ever since I started following other simmers who were doing BaCCs I realised that it’s something I would definitely enjoy. I don’t know about you, but I always got bored of playing after a while when there were no limitations and restrictions. I would give my sims beautiful homes and would abuse the maxmotives cheat to no end and that would eventually lead to me abandoning the families.

I’ve actually started with my BaCC already and have gone quite far with it since it only has (spoiler alert) 3 families in the beginning and I’ve been loving every second of it. I love the restrictions and how it made me discover so many new things about the game. It’s definitely taking me out of my comfort zone. It’s nice to finally be playing with custom sims instead of pre-mades. It’s been quite a few years since I’ve done that. Haha.

Do you share your BaCC somewhere?

Oh wow, thanks. It’s been years since I wrote anything of substance and especially in English (which is not my native language), so I’m glad that somebody thinks my little paragraphs about the families do not suck completely. Haha.

Oh yay, water balloons, good to know! I suspected/feared those “water” glasses didn’t come from a sink…

Hey Lorin :) Yeah, they unfortunately cannot have sinks if I understood the rules correctly, there is no plumbing (what are they drinking!? I think there were wine bottles in half of those crates that survived the shipwreck, that would explain why everyone is so red and sleepy all the time :p). Jumping about throwing water balloons doesn’t seem that refreshing to me, but yeah it’s good to know that it does refresh them! As we’ve observed many times, challenges are the best way to learn more of those little tricks ;)

Hi, I've been out of the loop for a couple of weeks (visiting long-time simming friends in Germany/UK first trip to Europe AAAGGHHH so beautiful!! :D :D :D). Anyway - you haz shadows again! I notice mine are gone now too. How did you fix yours?

OMG I never saw your comment! Does tumblr eat those too, now?! Sorry! First, no, I don’t have my shadows back, I’m just back on the old computer because the new one has the same issues again (sucks but yay, shadows :D) So just a matter of old graphics card driver.

And wow! First time in Europe and a simming tour at the same time, how wonderful:) I hope you had a great time in Europe and with your simming friends, that is so cool!
