Just a quick appreciation post for my favorite forgotten early 2000s band! Unfortunately, they only released two albums and every member is untraceable.... Although I guess that's the status quo for the genre.

I was at an art show in a bar awhile and there was a Finnish band that played possibly progessive music, but it was delightfully odd and the bassist was a wizard. I think the drummer had a parrot crown.

I have no idea what the bands name was. Might have Bajamajarama or something like that.

I think I should find the band, but the whole thing feels more like a fever dream, than my actual fever dreams.

A band lost to time, Roughhouse was a glam band founded as Teeze in 1983. Their name was changed to Roughhouse in 1988. Max Norman produced the debut album. In 1989 the band broke up. They reunited for some shows in 1992 and 1993, and again in 2002.

i just found “The Cat Empire” again. i used to listen to their songs when my dad and i were driving in the car when i was little and i forgot about them and now i remembered and i basically listen to their songs 24/7
