The shift
The great shift came one day
When the great parent said:
“For long you have worshipped
The great Mother
With your bodies & feet
Dancing in joy on the lands”—
“But now the time has come,
To leave that chapter,
To go within—
To find me—
In the reality of your Soul”
There are the two great ways to realise Consciousness— as the fundamental reality—
The forward facing, unifying with the world, the feminine, left-hand path, The Vama Chara & tantric, indigenous, shamanistic approach which is as old as time— remaining as a layer in the psyche of humanity
Then there is the path of turning the mind around & away from the worldly senses, closing the gates of exchange, to both the physical & subtle worlds, withdrawing perception, drawing consciousness within, reversing the path that awareness takes to manifest the world from Sat & Chit to Ānanda— now the approach is not towards Ānanda, but falling back into Sat, absolute truth.
The paths are summarised like this:
One-to-many is the path of Mother-to-other, Mother births the many, the other…
Many-to-one is the path of Father, exemplified in monotheism, renunciation & meditation…
A neuropsychological model could express it in terms of a sensory/motor ratio of flow of attention—, high arousal & motor output through rhythmic dance & ecstasy, or motor withdrawal by still sitting posture increasing sensory perception meditatively (focus on the present moment) increasing relaxation. Fine-tuning sympathetic/parasympathetic (vagus) stimulation ⚕️to alter state of Consciousness.
Neither Way is right or wrong, but humans have misunderstood that the Father path of Oneness is superior to the Mother path of Otherness because unity & silence is prior, does not make it higher.
Now that the chapter of the Mother & the chapter of the Father has had their evolutionary play, now the new chapter begins with Father & Mother standing side by side in holy embrace.
