Hey Mel! Something that has been on my mind and that maybe no one has really noticed is that the lost page fiasco in Back Cover is quite the mystery. After some research, indeed Luxu has the last page, but so does Gula. It's like a red herring, because in Ux after, Luxu does indeed say his secret is that lost page and he implied he knows. Meaning Gula indeed has the false lost page. What do you make sense out of this scenario?
So, I guess I personally don’t think Luxu actually has the lost page. If you notice, Gula recites the lost page, but when talking to Ava, Luxu only seems to reference the lost page, not recite it directly. Another reason we can suspect this is because Gula never figured out who the traitor truly was--even though he had the lost page-- while Luxu tells Ava specifically who it is. This leads me to believe that Luxu knows about the lost page’s contents, including who’s the traitor and how the Keyblade War would start, from being told about it by the Master of Masters. We know multiple times (one, two) that the MoM talked to Luxu and told him about his plans in person. And based on Luxu’s observation excerpts, MoM told Luxu a LOT more than he told the rest of the Foretellers. It’s also important to not that the MoM said Luxu shouldn’t have a physical copy of the book to prevent temporal paradoxes (one, two) and I assume the Lost Page is a part of that.
Because of this, I don’t necessarily think that Gula has a false lost page. I think Gula was given the Lost Page as a hint, but verbally Luxu was given the complete answer by the MoM himself.
But I do see where you’re coming from, honestly. I don’t really see the point in giving Gula a red herring, but clearly the picture isn’t fully revealed yet, so there may be something I’m missing or something we don’t know yet. So who knows, let’s wait and see!
