How the past few days have been, seen through some highly specific memes:
physically, I don’t have a lot of wips, but emotionally -
okay, maybe these are getting too specific
(This is right before their first battle)
He looks over at Deku - the very boy he'd spent his youth with, playing in the forest and dreaming of the day they would be heroes - and grimaces. Katsuki still remembers when they made those ostentatious plans to conquer the Hero ranks. How could he forget?
They'd spent entire afternoons planning out their names and heroic missions against evil. They promised each other that they would be heroes.
But when stupid fucking Deku hadn't gotten a quirk all those plans and hard work and thoughts of the future fell crumbling to the ground.
He knew then that only he would be the one making it to the charts. Only he would have an agency and fans and be beating up villains. Deku would only drag him behind.
Despite it all Deku still persisted - claiming he'd save others. Katsuki wasn't stupid. He knew it was impossible, that society either wouldn't let him or support him. So Katsuki pushed him away and called him names. Anything to try and separate Deku from the goals they'd made not so long ago (it didn't work; hints of Deku lingered in his brain when he thought of future).
Now, Deku is standing in front of him in a hero costume; Katsuki /remembers/ him drawing it and proudly showing it off. It hurts to see. Their paths are so intertwined yet so far apart. Deku had been lying to him all this time and now he was shoving it in Katsuki’s face.
Clearly, he'd thought nothing of their plans and ideas for him to have the nerve to show up wearing that. Katsuki wanted to destroy it, and him. He would in this battle. There was no way he could lose to this mockery of everything he'd worked for.
Out of the two of them, Katsuki is the only one who put real effort towards being a hero! He'd show the world that he was the only one who deserved to be here - even if he had to tear down and rebuild everything they'd made.
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
During an unexpected villain attack, Shouta finds himself in an unfamiliar area suddenly turned into a cat of all things. Before he can even begin to enjoy this transformation or try to find his friend, he's cornered by a group of middle schoolers and has to be rescued by none other than Midoriya Izuku.
Inspired by this post made by @deafmic which I enjoyed immensely. :)
Kurogiri runs a successful babysitting operation in order to raise money for the league. He gets to charge crazy high prices for being able to show up on short notice but also has normal rates for pre-planned appointments. One of his favorite kids and later turned employee is Midoriya Izuku. When he runs into Midoriya at the USJ he decides that being a babysitter pays better anyway and leaves the League for dead. Midoriya doesn't say a word and continues happily helping Kurogiri with his business. Kurogiri eventually expands his business into watching heroes' kids who need a babysitter like him more than anyone. :)
I’m an absolute sucker for Kacchan being the one who's always had a crush on Deku and Deku just recently coming to terms with his feelings for Kacchan.
