From the forge...🔥 I have been working on getting the shop set up so when classes open back up it will have a good work flow. I remembered that I had a 1950's wet💦 sandstone wheel grinder that I had won🏆 in a drawing while in the Shenandoah 🌄Valley area. (Craftsman badged slow speed vertical wet wheel grinder, built by Double A Products. Natural Ohio stone wheel, 10" x 1½". Cast iron body and tool rest. Geared speed reduction from the 4½" machine pulley.) I decided that I wanted to get it set up to use for sharpening tool and knives🔪🗡. Pretty cool right???👍 Well, I thought so too! Until the stone wheel broke into pieces.😔😕😲 I have been researching🔍 where to find a replacement. It is much harder than you would think.🤔 I find the correct diameter but the center measurments📏 are wrong... Anybody out there have any suggestions❓❔❓❔ I would💖 love to be able to use this "vintage" tool. . . . . #vintagetoolshop#craftsmen#antiquetools#oldtools#lostrades#forgedknife#knifemakingcommunity#knifefanatic#scarysharp#toolporn#vintagetools#blacksmithknife#sharptools#blacksmithtools#antiquetoolsforsale#grindingwheel#sandstonegrindstone#knifesharpening#abarasive#makeyourownstuff #metalarts#metalartsculpture#craftsmanshipmatters#howitsmadematters #metalartwork#metalartworks#steelsculptures#metalartshowcase#metalcrafts#michiganmetalworks https://www.instagram.com/p/CAdHl9QFl3c/?igshid=16vn0p80q00sn
