Dating Lotor HCs
alright so right off the bat- this man is a handsy dude
his love language is definitely physical touch and words of affirmation
so expect a lot of hand holding
and coming up behind you with hugs, leaning into your ear to tell you how much he adores you
also quality time is something he cherishes a lot
because he’s always busy yknow ruling the Galra Empire
so he’ll cuddle you in dim lit rooms
sit in his lap PLEASe
reads to you a lot for sure this man is a book worm
runs his free hand through your hair as your lulled to sleep by his soothing voice
insists on you dressing up for important events
doesn’t forget to shower you in compliments when you show up all done up to the nines
you’re BEAUTIFUL and don’t you forget it!
Lotor is a great dancer and he loves to show you off on ball room dance floors, spinning you gently and swaying
sometimes you like to hear his stories about his endeavors out in the universe and when you ask he just can’t refuse that look in your eyes

At times, he tries to be very serious and stern
or sometimes he’s just a grumpy asshole
but you know every in and out of the poor guy so it’s easy to make him melt and get soft

to which you shyly blush because you’ll never get used to being called his
most of all he loves that you take time to listen to him and understand him

more weird shit for lotor: lotor's height combined with only having a single altean sized heart instead of two galra sized hearts means that he faints more often than you'd think. it didn't take him very long to learn of this weakness and how to best hide it, but extreme circumstances can force his hand. every general has a story about a time where they freaked out and thought he'd been assassinated, but he was just out cold because he'd been standing up too long.
Lotor: *stands up too quickly and his vision goes black*
Lotor: well. That’s not ideal.

A/n: Sure thing! I hope you don’t mind that I excluded Hunk and Pidge, as I don’t write for them, but included Allura and Lotor instead! The headcanons are beneath the cut!
- Lyn
Shiro
Shiro is a pretty intimate guy, so when he hugs you, he hugs you with all that he has.
He will definitely be the guy to gently nuzzle you and hold your head to his shoulder or chest, keeping you safe and tight within his arms.
Head kisses are a must.
He especially likes to rub your back comfortingly as he whispers sweet nothings into your ear.
Shiro will know when you just need a silent hug or need to be comforted. He can tell by the way you attach yourself to him and how fast you do.
If he’s the one needing a hug, Shiro likes to hug you from behind and rest his head upon your shoulder.
Expect shoulder kisses if Shiro rests his head against your shoulder.
Shiro will hold you tightly within his arms, so don’t expect on going anywhere soon.
Keith
Keith isn’t a huge romantic like Shiro is.
His hugs are almost always soft. Keith likes just holding you when one of you need some type of comfort.
If you’re the one needing comfort, he will hold you to him loosely, giving you enough room to hug him tightly while also giving you room to pull away when you want to.
His hand is almost always on the back of your neck while the other wraps around your torso.
Keith will nuzzle your head like a cat, and it’s the cutest thing in the world.
If Keith is the one needing the hug, he likes pressing his forehead against yours and just taking in the comfort of your presence.
Skin to skin contact always makes him blush, but when he is holding you with his forehead against yours, he almost never notices.
Your presence is just that comforting.
Out of the paladins, Keith’s hugs are the most grounding because of how raw and real they are.

Lance
Lance is the goofiest one of the Paladins, as we all know.
His hugs are nothing short but the same.
Lance adores picking you up and twirling you around. He knows it will make you laugh and get you to feel better.
Plus, he thinks it’s cute when you freak out and squeal as he spins.
However, when you just need to have a quiet hug, Lance will wrap you up in his arms, his arms beneath yours as your arms snake around his neck.
He wont deny that those are the best.
Lance is almost always the one initiating hugs as you hug him at least three times a day.
Please bear with him. He just loves the feeling of your body against his in the most romantic and nonsexual way.
Your hugs always ground him and bring him back down to earth when Lance feels like he is losing his mind.
Allura
Allura may not have any romantic experience, but she sure knows how to give a hug.
Allura loves hugs! They’re the most comforting thing in the universe!
If you’re the one needing a hug, Allura will not hesitate to wrap you up in her arms, softly comforting you as you stay in her arms.
She loves rocking you back and forth gently. She knows how comforting it can be to be rocked back and forth so slowly, and she enjoys trying to comfort you like that.
If Allura is the one hugging you, Allura will hug in the way she hugged Keith when apologizing to him for being rude after finding out he was Galra.
Her hands will rest against your shoulders, her face tucked into your shoulder before she will snake her arms around your neck.
This Altean will swoon if you scratch her back. It’s the fastest way to get her to relax and become tired.
She especially likes it when you run your fingers through her long hair. Allura loves getting her hair played with when she isn’t too busy with the Paladins.
Please never stop hugging her.
Lotor
Lotor loves wrapping you up within his arms whenever he can.
Especially if you’re really short compared to him.
It’s an intimate thing to him, and Lotor takes every hug seriously unless you’re obviously being silly.
When you just want to hug, he will rest his chin atop your head and hold your head to him, much like Shiro would.
Lotor will definitely pet your head and play with your hair as he holds you.
He’ll definitely run his claws lightly up and down your arm because he knows how nice you think it feels.
If Lotor is the one needing a hug, he will wrap his hands around the back of your head and just pull you to his chest.
This boy adores it when you scratch his back as he hugs you. Granted, you might not have claws, but he likes the feeling of your nails against his back.
At least, if he isn’t wearing his armor.
If you can’t scratch his back, you’ll play with his hair, gently running your fingers through it as you allow him to hug you.
will most likely keep your forehead to his lips when he wants to whisper to you about what it the matter.
Technician Coran is never actually seen around the pizzeria during the day. he is only seen at night, which is still kinda rare.
he isn’t a normal humanoid; his eyes are always black with white dots and can teleport around the whole area.
none of the others have an idea of what he’s like, except for Pidge and the Puppetman. (Pidge and Coran are cousins, and the Puppetman knew about his murder.)
the night guard only sees him when he randomly pops up in the office, sitting in a slouched position with his arms loose at his sides and jaw wide open.
he desperately wants to introduce himself to the others, but the fear of being rejected holds him back. he thinks the others would find him weird or creepy.
the Puppetman doesn’t know this, but Coran also knows the origins of the other humanoids, including himself. this only increases the urge to talk to them, but he always fights it.
Lotor (Purple Guy’s role)
Lotor is a cunning, yet shady individual. he’s also very intelligent, but for all the wrong reasons.
first and foremost, his skin is fucking purple. many adults tend to keep their kids away from him for that reason alone, but that makes the children more interested in him.
he always took it to his advantage, usually to prove that he isn’t the “bad guy” the parents make him out to be. oh, if they knew..
since he has always been around kids, he decided to use this for an..experiment. one day during his day shift, he noticed an unused golden bunny costume lying down in the back room. he remembered the five kids he was interacted with earlier, and he suddenly had a sinister idea.
he put the costume on, and walked back out to the same group of kids. he offered them a surprise if they followed him. one was about to ask for parent’s permission, but he stopped them and said that he already informed their parents.
thus, he invited them to a more isolated room near the back, and told them to wait for the surprise. he came back, and they get excited; however, they were met with something different than what they had in mind. they were all met with a knife.

Lotor was a scientist, so he would occasionally study other species’ biology
Now that he was involved with the paladins, he would sometimes ask questions about humans
But he never directly asked about female reproductive health
It just never really came up
So when you suddenly leap out of bed in the morning and dash for your bathroom, Lotor is confused
Were you sick?
He’s about to get out of bed after you when he sees it
There’s blood on the sheets where you were laying
Now he’s concerned
He’s at the bathroom door in the blink of an eye, but you locked it
So he’s about to knock and ask if you’re alright, but you come out right then
In a change of clothes, Lotor notes
“You’re bleeding?”
Lotor hadn’t intended to make it sound like a question, it just kind of happened
He knew you were bleeding
He just didn’t know why
You immediately flush, pushing past Lotor to change the sheets
But Lotor stops you, and you can see that he is worried so you give in
As you begin teaching him about human reproduction and what menstruation is, Lotor is shocked
He had no idea human “vagina owner’s”, as you put it, went through so much trouble
And every month?
It seemed pretty inconvenient
When he stated this, you couldn’t help but snort and nod in agreement
Once you explain everything, Lotor is calmer than before
He’s still worried about you, but at least he knows you’re not dying
Typically, Lotor is a little more reserved with his affections for you
You don’t doubt that he cares for you, of course, he just has an image to maintain
However that all flies out the window when you’re on your period
He still keeps his calm demeanor, however, he will drop everything to cater to your needs
He’s in the middle of a meeting but your back hurts? Looks like the meeting’s over, he’s getting you a hot pack
He’s out in timbuktu in the middle of a battle but you’re sad for no reason? He can fight these guys some other time, he’s already halfway back to you to comfort you
If anyone dares to make a snide comment about it, they’re banished to a frozen tundra planet overrun by carnivorous lizards
Obviously, he knows that he can easily just assign a group of nurses and such to tend to you, however he kind of likes being able to take care of you
Due to his strict upbringing, Lotor still isn’t 100% comfortable with outright telling you how much he cares about you
In this situation, he gets to show you how much he cares about you without it being a big deal
If you get embarrassed, Lotor is good at reassuring you that you don’t need to be
After all, it’s natural
Again, he’s a scientist, he’s not going to get embarrassed about it
As time goes on, Lotor gets better at reading your moods and knowing when to give you space or whatever else you might need
To be honest, Lotor has a new level of respect for you
A level he didn’t even know he had
Obviously, he chugged that Respect Women Juice™
Just look at his generals
However, if you can kick ass while you’re on your period??
Lotor wants to marry you on the spot
He thinks you’re the most badass person on the battlefield

Shiro
I think that Shiro would relax with a back rub or any type of massage. As he gets tensed up during missions, the feeling of your palms against his shoulder blades is enough to make him relax. Even if he isn't telling you to stay and sleep next to him, he secretly wants it so you better stay with him. Eye contact is a must, Shiro calms down automatically at the sight of your eyes.
Keith
He would feel better having you in his arms rather than you hugging him. Keith calms down once he can hug you from behind and put his chin on your shoulder. If he tells you about his day freely, listen to him closely but if he is rather silent, don't force him, just be there next to him and he'll get better. Another thing that you'll observe is that when Keith finally relaxes, he'll bury his face in the crook of your neck.
Lance
Give Lance full attention. I'm talking about long cuddling sessions in which you tell him how important he is for you and the team. Any type of reassurance followed by the feeling of your soft kisses is the perfect treatment. I think that looking deeply into his eyes or kissing his shoulders, would make him feel better again.
Hunk
When ge is upset, start off by grabbing his hands and holding them tightly. Let him hug you as he lays his head on top of your chest and listens to the beating of your heart. Soon after some minutes, he'll open up to you and tell you what went wrong. During this, you better caress his cheeks and run your hands through his hair, gently.
Pidge
Pidge would go extremely silent when upset and will not ask you for anything. Play with her hair while laying in bed, facing her and you'll get a well known calm smile from Pidge. Take off her glasses and kiss her temples, that's when she'll shut her eyes close and thank you in a whisper.
Lotor
Out of everyone, he would not want any additional attention when he is upset because he wants to handle it alone. Even so, be stubborn and walk towards him, grab his face and kiss him on his forehead. Watch him closely in the eyes and stick your forehead against his, after that. You will earn a long sigh as his shoulders are dropping and his hands will be placed on your hips, that's the sign that tells you he is finally feeling better.
