how it started...

- your relationship started from a place of mutual curiosity if the same topic

- you became close from studying altean history and more specifically, oriande

- both of you worked together to locate oriande

- at first, lotor just wanted to use you for his benefit but as time passed, he slowly grew to respect you

- i think you probably fell first, or at least acknowledged your feelings first

- my own personal headcannon is that alteans tend to be very in-tune with their emotions, to the point where they feel things so intensely it can drive them insane

- so i think you realized you were falling in love with lotor fairly quickly, but you chose to not let it make a difference

- after all, you were just a researcher and he was the savior of the alteans

- maybe a few months later, lotor began to realize he loved you

- for him, it wasn't a slow fall, it was a plummet where the feelings suddenly overwhelmed him

- it probably hit him in some quiet moment, when you two were researching alone, and you'd laughed and he realized

- unlike you, lotor isn't quite as in-tune with his emotions, but he decides to act quickly anyway

- he's too used to losing things he wants or never getting it at all so he takes this chance to seize the moment

- he probably said something romantic, something about your laugh, or the stars in your eyes, or how your mind was the greatest he'd ever known, but whatever he said, it stuck

- soon enough, you were in a relationship. betrothed likely, because that's what royalty does

- the decision to keep the relationship secret was mutual. lotor didn't want you to be targeted by the galra and you feared what the other alteans would think about someone like you with someone like him

how it's going...

- i think in this version, lotor still extracts quintessence from the alteans in the same way

- he feels terrible about it, but not terrible enough

- the same process of the worthy continues and romelle's brother still suffers

- lotor keeps this a secret from you, knowing you wouldn't approve, and instead feeds you the same lie about a second colony

- whenever lotor returns to the colony, he checks his quintessence experiments first, then finds you

- he gives you gifts from galaxies he traveled to and tells you stories while you walk around the most hidden areas of the colony

- he often promises that one day, he'll bring you with him, and you'll go to oriande together

- even when lotor's gone, you keep in contact somehow, just to relay newly found research or whisper fond affections in the dead of night

- you know lotor loves you, or at least you think you do, but you can't help but feel like he's hiding something

- when the keith and krolia find romelle and they learn the truth, romelle immediately heads to you

- you two weren't exactly close, but even romelle knew something was going on between you and lotor

- you were horrified and hurt, angry that lotor never told you a thing, and frustrated that you never noticed

- you demanded to go with keith, krolia, and romelle, determined to drag the truth out of lotor

- when you first met the paladins, you didn't even have time to think, because all you saw was lotor and allura, hand in hand, before you'd passed out

"Lance, is he still looking at me?" I whisper this to my paladin friend who annoyingly just laughs at my question.

"Hate to break it to ya (Y/N), but he's full on staring over here." I sigh as my shoulders slump down, my mind trying to wrap around the strange issue that's come up this week. Ever since Lotor started staying at the castle with us, he hasn't stopped looking at me and it's unnerving to say the least.

It's not...hateful staring, that type of staring I'm fully used to since I'm a bigger person. The type of look that basically says 'how dare you be a fat person'. Lotor's stares though...seem enamored, obsessive in a way. He didn't hide it at all, everyone noticed it and it only made my round cheeks flush.

"I don't get it Lance...there's nothing on my face...I have matching clothes, why does he keep staring at me!?" My face is in my hands as I rub my brow trying to cease the migraine coming on.

"He likes you (Y/N), duh." My head snaps up as I stare at him like he grew another head. "Excuse me?" I see him rolling his eyes as he turns to me. "He. Likes. You." Lance says each word slowly, like he's explaining some unnatural phenomenon, which in a way he is.

"Trust me, he likes you (Y/N), he can't keep his eyes off ya, just talk to him okay?" I see people leaving the meeting room as Allura concludes our weekly team meeting. I stay seated as I think on Lance's words for a few more minutes before getting up and going to Lotor's room. I think back to the looks he's given me and they seem to be filled with wonder, like he was entranced by me and the mere thought brings a smile to my face.

Soon, I'm in front of his door, and I take a moment to ground myself, and I knock. I hear his footsteps and soon I'm face to face with the prince himself.

"H-hey Lotor." Now that I'm staring right into his eyes, I feel like bolting away and abandoning this stupid mission that Lance got stuck in my head.

"(Y/N), what a pleasure to see you." My round cheeks flush as his gaze roams up and down my body before ushering me into his room. I take a good look around, it's the usual small room we all have in the castle, but his is decorated with books, papers and some what looks like royal Galra furnishings and decorations.

"To what do I owe this visit, my dear?" I really need him to stop talking in that smooth voice, because it's not doing wonders for my flamed round cheeks. I just need to come out and say it, otherwise I'll be walking out of here with my tail between my thick legs.

"Why do you keep staring at me? Just because I'm a bigger person doesn't mean you can stare at me, g-guess what? I am bigger and I-I'm not going anywhere! S-so stop staring....please." Oh shit, that was awful, I just blurted that all out like some word vomit without a second thought.

"(Y/N)...my gaze is not one of ill intent, I was admiring you." His words made my eyes widen as Lance's words echoed in my head.

He likes you.

"W..what?" My voice was small and in disbelief.

"I was admiring you (Y/N)...you're beautiful...soft." His gaze softened, and I could see a slight blue flush on his purple cheeks. I gathered the courage to look into his eyes and they seemed kind and truthful.

"You...were admiring me?" His lips smiled softly. "Of course I was (Y/N), your softness...is something I've never seen before, so supple and plush how can I not stare at such abundant beauty?" I feel his hands on my plush hips; the fat that rolls in that area being held and fondled by his large hands. "These...so soft as I grip it (Y/N), like they were made for me to grip and fondle."

A small gasp leaves my parted lips as he trails his hands down my thick legs and thighs as he himself gets onto his knees in front of me like he was about to worship the very ground I walked.

"L-Lotor-." I'm unable to finish my sentence as he gropes my soft thick thighs. The action makes my legs wobble as I slump into a chair near me. My eyes widen as I see him, the Galran Prince drop to his knees as he kisses up my legs, large hands still gripping my softness like I'd vanish if he ever let go.

The way he presents himself, I never thought I'd see the day he was on his knees for someone, let alone me. He lets out a small growl that makes me clench my thick thighs and brings heat to my round cheeks. His gaze locks onto mine before he leans in and nibbles at my round, rolled belly sticking out slightly, making the fabric of my shirt stretch.

"Lotor!" I feel him smirking against my plush skin as he keeps nibbling at the fatty area before nuzzling his face into my stomach fully like it was his own personal pillow.

I'm frozen as his eyes meet mine again. "You're glorious (Y/N)." Glorious...I've never been calling something as magnificent as that by anyone. "The women on my planet are all hardness and defined muscles....but you...Gods above, you are softness and warmth wrapped in a plush form that makes me weak to my knees." I feel his hands skim up my fat hips and dipped waist, feeling that same softness he just described like it was carved from Gold.

I want to believe him, I do, but everything he's saying it's too good to be true, like some Cinderella story come to life. I wasn't a princess like Allura, I wasn't a Paladin like Lance, Pidge and the others...I was normal...boring compared to everyone else.

A warm hand cupping my cheek breaks me from my thoughts. "You think too much (Y/N), I can hear your thoughts without you uttering a word." The way his thumb was caressing my cheek felt nice, it was warm and comforting.

"I meant every word I've said...you've captured my eye from the first time I've met you. It's not only your softness I adore, but your light..your compassion, kindness...I could go on about the many things I adore about you, but for now, will you allow me to worship this beautiful body of yours like you deserve?"

I wipe the gathered tears away from my eyes and nod as I smile at him. A rumble went through his chest as he got up from the floor and quickly captured his mouth with mine.

Maybe being worshipped won't be so bad.

No one knew how lotor... Acquired this human pet of his but no one dared to question the princes choices. (Name) Was dressed in the prettiest clothes, sheer and beautiful with gold accents.

"What has you so sad, my love?" Lotor asked his beloved who leaned into the princes touch, a sign of relief as gentle kisses were placed on his neck.

"I was just reminiscent of holidays I would celebrate on earth... It's almost Halloween there..." He whispered, turning to kiss his husbands cheek while the prince hummed "explain this holiday" the man lightly demanded, cuddling his beloved like a stuffed animal. Rarely he had downtime like this so he was going to spend it listening to his lover's tales of earth.

He didn't care much for earth but he cared for (name).

"Well Halloween is a celebration where people would decorate their house in scary decor and children would dress like monsters and get sweets from houses... But my favorite when I was a child was apple picking with my mother..." (Name)s voice was so sweet and gentle "we would bake apple pies and if I was good, she would make me a caramel apple... It was always my favorite"

Lotor was quiet while listening, only this gentle with his fragile human who was so sweet for him "enough of my rambles of the past... How was your day darling?" (Name) Was completely unaware of the war, not a clue in his pretty head of the things that happened around him.

His life revolved around lotor and only lotor, pampered and given anything his hear could desire with the exchange of pure devotion.

Wicker baskets and decor that were as fall themed as the alien could figure out, a true declaration of love with this.

Everything was perfect...

"What's this?" (Name) Held the ornate box curiously, it was thin and wide... Clothing possibly? "Open it" lotor grinned, leaning closer to nip at the others chin, (name) carefully lifting the box and looked confused while lifting the cable knit sweater 'happy Halloween' written on the front, a bat under it "what is this...?" He smiled at the soft material, lotor giving a cocky smirk "I know I was rough on you but I would assume you knew what this was, little human"

"Thank you..."

Lotor felt prideful at his beloveds smile, immediately put it on and hug himself "it's so warm!"

"That's not all, little star..."

(Name) Was absolutely giddy when he saw the orchard, running inside to see the trees before turning back to the prince "do you like it?"

"We will bring our children here!" (Name) Said seriously, lotor chuckling at his beloved who took his hand and led him through the orchard, grabbing a basket as they walked.

Lotors height made it easy to grab fruits towards the top "we should make tarts after this..."
