Voltron Crack Theory

One of my (many) insane theories: Lotor is actually a younger sibling. Zarkon’s eldest child went missing/died under mysterious circumstances and left him with Lotor as the next in line. But everyone had always considered Lotor to be second rate compared to his older sibling and he had never properly been trained to rule because everyone always assumed someone else would be in charge if and/or when Zarkon ever left the throne, hence why he’s treated so unfavorably by the rest of the empire.

What makes the theory insane? The idea that the older sibling was a daughter, and that she’s actually Keith’s mom. Which would make Zarkon Keith’s grandpa and Lotor his uncle. And Haggar is possibly his grandmother.

And technically it would also make Keith next in line to inherit the Galra Empire, even over Lotor.

Crazy? Yes. But god wouldn’t it be fun if it were true?
