For dinner tonight, kids split a grilled cheese (I used a real slice of American cheese but on ener-g bread and cooked in @earthbalance spread) and liked it! (I wish someone had to convince me to like grilled cheese...) They devoured some GF noodles with evoo (I refilled their plates at least 3 times each), split a @naturesbakery fig bar, and ended up having a few servings of fruit. H has been asking for food when he goes to bed and we are torn between thinking he may actually be hungry since he eats dinner so early and has been staying up a bit later...but he most definitely is also using it as a stalling technique bc he recently started really fighting us at bed/nap. So we are going to try adding a snack right after bath. Tonight we read some books and had waffles with peanut butter and a few @enjoylifefoods mini dark chocolate chips — even after what we’d call a “big dinner” for them, they both ate every bite!
