I know there's mixed feelings on Johnny Herbert but I need to talk about him and Mika! Here is a story about them sharing a hotel room in 1991 where Johnny decides to run Mika a 'big bubbly bath'. Taken from Johnny's book:

'While he was disrobing in the bathroom, I was doing the same in the bedroom. I put a flannel over my parts and knocked at the door. "Can I come in?", I whispered naughtily. "Erm, yes, I suppose so," said a rather hesitant Mika. I opened the door, walked in very slowly, towel in position, fluttered my eyelashes and said, "Would you like me to get in with you, Mika?". Have you ever seen a terrified Finnish gentleman start splashing about in a bath? Well, if you ever get the opportunity, seize it, because it was one of those sights I shall remember. He was absolutely shitting himself, bless him'

'The following morning, the Flying Finn went flying up to the Lotus team secretary. "Suzanne, I think Johnny is gay. What am I going to do?".'

Johnny ends the story with: 'Despite the bathroom shenanigans, my relationship with Mika carried on swimmingly well into 1992.' 😆

It honestly sounds like a fanfic 😭❤️

Lotus Mika was so precious, a little track monster but so cute, He really was so aesthetically adorable in 1991 in the green lotus outfit, with his iconic helmet. He was also very pouty LOL.
