With his hands now shielding her eyes after he carefully led her along the beach while requesting she keep them closed, Alfie does his best to posture like he isn't a little nervous for how she might react to his date choice.

"I'm going to let you look but before I do, do you promise to be gentle about telling me if you think it's lame?"

There's a smile on his face alongside his question, the penchant for honesty that Louie has was something he knew had learned about early on into seeing her and he fast found that he enjoyed it, much like her company.

"You heard much from Sal?" Buddy asks from where he's sat on his sister's couch, shooting for casual in his questioning but not quite pulling it off given he didn't usually care to ask much about Gus' father other than whether or not he had him when Buddy wanted to spend time with him.

"Non-Gus things, I mean."

"Are you going to be checking that thing all night?" Santiago asks as he sidles up to Louie and the phone he had spotted in her hand for a third time that night, "That's not very prom-spirited of you."

After Halloween had taken a disastrous turn for him with headlights and handcuffs, Buddy had taken the opportunity to sleep in until noon after his sister bailed him out before eventually rolling out of bed, showering and heading over to his other sister's.

"Noooo," Buddy says as his Louie approached him, knowing what that look on her face combined with the time meant, doing his best to evade the inevitable as he steps further away from her with his nephew in hand, "Back me up, Gus. You tell her mommy no nap yet, my uncle Buddy just got here."
