Long time, no post! My tablet is still kaput (stabilizer and pen pressure not working) but before it decided to betray me I was working on this, this is a challenge entry for the #witchifychallenge and I really didn't want to put it to waste so I did the best I could. All I had left to do was the shading. I decided to try soft shading which I first attempted with a water color brush. That didn't work due to no pen pressure. So the only other way I could think of was with the blur tool? Since that took no pen pressure nor stabilization I was able to get this done. I made a transparent version and put her into a spooky forest. I ended up using me and Ruthi's shared character Mozam (Mozambique garnet) and a witch doctor. Witch doctors originated from African culture and can also be known as Sangomas or Shamans. Witch doctors are also really popular in Louisiana which is where a huge chunk of my family is from so both me and ruthi have our own connection to them :D Thanks a bunch to kittylover3 who allowed me to use a witch doctor for their challenge! I hope you guys enjoy~
