This beautiful costume that appears both blue and purple depending on the light, most recently appeared in the second season of 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝑪𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒏, worn by Andrew Scott as the French king Louis XI in 𝑯𝒆𝒏𝒓𝒚 𝑽𝑰, 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝟐. But that’s not where it began its life! In 2013, it was seen in 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒉𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝑸𝒖𝒆𝒆𝒏, where Joren Seldeslachts wore it as Charles, Duke of Burgundy. Its first known appearance dates back to 2011, in the French TV movie 𝑳𝒐𝒖𝒊𝒔 𝑿𝑰, 𝒍𝒆 𝒑𝒐𝒖𝒗𝒐𝒊𝒓 𝒇𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒂𝒔𝒔é (𝑳𝒐𝒖𝒊𝒔 𝑿𝑰, 𝑺𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝑷𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓), worn by Bruno Debrandt as Louis d’Orléans — the future Louis XII.
