On the belief in Werewolves in the northern Alps. (part 1) Contemporary documents speak of "thousands of members" in the packs that crossed and/or lived in the Northern Alps. The damage was worse than one can imagine among children. A population of peasants that, moreover, often lived quite isolated due to the difficulties from the mountainous terrain.

From the 16th century, in official documents and on many occasions, we witness a "terminological confusion" : the narrator himself does not seem to make a difference between the two semantic spaces : wolves and werewolves.

It is not clear where the boundary lies between the two "beings" that both evoke a feeling close to terror.

- Excerpt from a 16th century document, written by a local notary, in the small village of Saint Antoine : " (…) shortly after sunset, the wolf went to take from a child who was walking under the trellis ; while his mother was feeding a smaller one, the beast carried him off without anyone being able to help him. His remains were never found. Some time before, a werewolf had taken another child from the house of A. Some time later, the mother of this child, saw the wolf again advancing towards the village at nightfall, and shouted "Wolf! Wolf!", the wolf jumped at her throat. The woman had already been dead for a long time when help arrived."

The same document relates several times that the wolves that attack have already devoured the dogs that are supposed to protect the farms.

Thérian ?

Bon ici je raconte encore ma vie mdr, mais surtout des interrogations.

Je me sens proche des loups, et il m'arrive parfois de shift avec en particulier beaucoup de membres fantômes (envie de mordre/grogner/aboyer/d'être caressé sur la tête, l'impression d'avoir des canines/un pelage/des oreilles de loup, sentir ses poils du dos s'hérisser etc).

Cependant, même si j'en suis très proche, je ne me suis jamais identifié comme un thérian car (sans juger les personnes qui le sont et qui ont totalement le droit de l'être) je ne pense pas qu'on puisse s'identifier à un animal. Je pense par contre que ça peut être issu d'une forte connexion ou d'une vie antérieure.

Donc même si je ne m'identifie pas à un loup, je me sens quand même parfois comme un loup (c'est pas exactement la même chose donc) et je shift quand même. J'avais fait des recherches il y a un moment, et malheureusement je n'avais pas trouvé grand chose en français ou des choses très peu précises. Donc je n'ai pas compris grand chose des thérians.

J'ai cependant aujourd'hui trouvé un wiki en français avec un article dessus, par hasard. Je suis content et j'ai enfin pu comprendre ce qu'est exactement un thérian. Et surtout, il y avait mon cas ! Ça se nomme Animal-hearted, ce n'est pas une forme de thérian mais ça appartient à la même catégorie (je ne m'y connais pas plus). Donc je suis officiellement wolf-hearted aujourd'hui. Je suis trop content, c'est agréable de poser des mots sur ce genre de choses. S'y quelqu'un qui parle français à des choses à ajouter pour ma connaissance je suis preneur XD
