Arcedes is unsure how it happened, but the humans are aware of its and its brothers existence. It watches the devoted ones build temples to share their love for its existence. They see rituals in place for burials, asking for rebirthing, to create a new body for that soul to travel to. It does not listen.
It watches those who build the temple speak of Rametros as though he were a force of evil, bent on ending the world. Those words spread like one of his brother's fires, raging and uncontrolled. Some choose not to believe, while some retreat to underground areas to perform sacrifices to Rametros. Creation still refuses to bat an eye at this.
Rametros, on the other hand, sees these humans plights, and does what he can, as destruction. He gives the dying humans a home in the shadows, joining in their eternal playing and partying. He does not listen to those sacrificing others in his honor, for that is not what he stands for.
He sees a small group of people in a forest, hearing them speak of Creation and Destruction acting as one, keeping a perfect balance on the world, and asking for guidance of some kind. An idea comes to Rametros, and so he finds himself at the shadows once more, watching as they wisp their way around, still as happy as they used to be.
"My friends. I come to you with a proposal. You shall be mobile, with new friends to play with, should they wish." Rametros says, his voice a whisper that still holds the power to send a tree toppling over. The shadows dance more excitedly, not opposed to the idea of more friends.
It lets a bit of its magic upon the earth, watching the shadows temporarily split apart, a large wisp flying around freely a bit before it's pointed to its targets: the group of people, speaking of balance, knowing that Destruction is not a force of evil, but a necessary part of this world. The shadow darts from shadow to shadow, and they begin to move as well, though much more subtly than the leaves.
It is not a perfect answer to the questions the people ask, but it is certainly better than nothing at all. The shadows now have friends, and the humans, a way to have their questions answered, to find histories and secrets long lost to the passage of time.
