you hmph and mutter a ‘whatever’ at this, about to leave his studio when he pulled you back in and threw you toward the couch. you hit the cushions harshly, and before you can ask why, you find he’s already glaring at you from your seat. you do notice his posture is corrected, for now.

“well my brilliant idea is lost for now, but i appreciate the concern, i suppose.” he huffs like a child, idly tapping his fountain pen against the desk as if trying to summon the idea back. “your job is to sit there and correct my posture if need be. the great rohan kishibe can’t have a hunch back.”

artemy :)

My otp for them: It’s Artemy/Daniil. There’s not even a competition. 

My brotp for them: I love Artemy and Rubin together and I think their dynamic is super interesting and has some really cool development that one could even elaborate on post canon. I mean... I love Artemy with all of the Apple basket gang members. But this one is specifically interesting to me.

Any other ships: Artemy/Lara can be really cute and interesting at the same time. 

Their best friend: Since I already talked about Rubin, I will mention Sahba here. I love their interactions and both of them have a lot of respect for each other while still sharing what they think. It’s really nice.

My favorite nickname for them: Cub ^^ If we’re talking strictly nicknames. Though I also really love the different interpretations for Artemy in the kin and how nuanced and detailed they are. I think my favorite there is esegher (though emshen would be another obvious choice). I think Sahba uses it in one of her voicelines and I love how the position of warden and leadership is also assigned to a term of "father”. (Since she connects the term with the others “yargachin” and “emshen” we can guess it’s referring to a status and not actual familiar connection). I think the usage of it here really makes a nuanced statement about the view on family, hierarchy and the kin in a really clever way.

My favorite AU of them: I don’t know, I really associate the canon (specifically of P2) with him. Even moreso than post diurnal and I love canon-compliant stuff that focuses on him specifically. I think it’s my fascination with how the gameplay affects the story and how easy it is to integrate in Artemy’s introspection.

My favorite outfit they wear: I love depictions of him with the blue sweater a lot. Firstly because it’s a nice lore detail but it also seems very comfortable and I think it fits him. I just want him to wear something warm and cozy.

Defining color: Emerald, which roughly stands for protection, endurance and managing to get through bad times. Gold as the secondary color, which is about love, trust and self-sacrifice. (Yes I am using Turgor/The Void colors. Yes I am doing it because I have no idea about actual color theory!)

Would I date them: Hm... I mean... I don’t know if it would work out. Like... I mean, he would be an absolutely great boyfriend. But I don’t think I would be his type and I don’t know if I could work with this amount of stubbornness and clever humor. Too anxious for a proper rebuttal wich would make communication difficult. Also I’m horrible with kids. So, I would fucking love to but I also think there’s better options for both of us.

First impression: Seems like this person is in a lot of trouble. Poor guy! (Also for context, my first impression was the Hbomberguy video)

Current impression: What a good guy and nuanced character!! Also what a sassmaster I love his voice as a main character so much! Please give this guy some bread and a nice place to sleep, he deserves it! Dad of the year!

one of my favs, caius palladino! he’s an elder gargoyle from way back when, so old that he was in fact Made, and not Embraced. he’s one of those rare High Humanity Vamps, as he tries to keep himself on the moral straight and narrow, believing in making the world a better place for both Kine and Kindred. though he does, of course, understand sometimes ideals have to take a backseat to realism, he is passionate in doing what he can to make the world not feel so bleak.

in terms of where he is on the food chain, he is part of the primogen council! while he is probably the strongest vampire in new orleans by just sheer age (889, not counting how old the constituents of his body were, as he doesn’t remember), he doesn’t desire to be prince. at the same time, he finds arietta wanting. so he basically forced her to give him a seat on the council to have a say in camarilla matters and keep an eye on her, and as long as she is careful to not overstep boundaries, he allows her to keep her throne.

he’s a very powerful ally for the players, having a connection to one of them, but he’s also a very busy man, thus his support will be from afar for most of the time. he could potentially be persuaded to come in person to help them on something important or dangerous, but the number of successes needed would be quite steep.
