She fell asleep in the chair next to his bed! Though it was very uncomfortable for her, so she was up throughout the night. Seeing as there are visitor hours, the boys had gone home to get some rest before they came back in the morning, so she was there all alone (minus the other staff, of course haha).

TOMIEEEE !!! hihi, and thank you omygod i didn't expect to see you in my inbox today, this was such a sweet surprise 🫶🥹 i think one of my most favourite compliments to get in regards to my writing is that my longfics don't feel that long and keep readers' interest <333 truly, it makes me feel very satisfied that i was able to deliver something that kept your attention for over 30k words (almost 50k if you consider the entire series). thank you so so much again!!!

as for vocabulary, i just consume so much words in a day tbh... i read all the time lol (more than i write for sure). if you don't count reading for leisure, i'm at the least reading for uni (lots of articles and reference papers. they kill me 😭 but at least i learn a new word or two sob). also i used to be a dictionary nerd (like my 8th grade pastime was playing word games between classes with frnds and i kept long lists of cool sounding words in my notes app which still exist and also i play too much scrabble and-)

i'm sure your vocabulary will grow with you the more you engage with words in general; it's just something that naturally happens if you have a genuine interest in language. but even my vocabulary isn't that vast lol, i still look up words i don't understand and abuse the heck out of wordhippo and thesaurus dot com hehe (no shame in either of those, that's how you learn btw).

okok onto the fic (i yapped too much sorry), woonhak IS you!! he might be the most endearing character i've written so far omygod, i tease the hell out of him in love(bug) but only bcs that's my love language haha. RIWOO! i was waiting for someone to mention my pookie omg, cropped blond haired riwoo in ifg did something insane to me ngl... and he was written to balance out both anxious leehan and overexcited woonhak in lovebug. just the perfect senpai (sunbae?) lol in every sense.

hi my sweet sweetie rosy cake emoji !! i just finished reading lovebug finale part 2 and OF COURSE i had to run and leave a long ass review in your inbox —hope you don’t mind ^^ —

THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!

i’ll start off by saying that lovebug on the line is definitely my favorite fic of all time, it has EVERYTHING i love ans look for in a fic. i loved it ever since the first part dropped (as u know), i was so happy when u announced a part 2 and i was even happier when you announced the finale!! honestly i was scared to read it because i didn’t want it to end so i read the first 2 parts before the last one and you delivered!

first thing first: the pacing and setting that made me feel like i was watching a spiderman movie or reading a comic!! that’s such an amazing thing because not many people are able to set the mood this good while writing. the venom and mysterio plot twist were incredibly well built and unexpected u did an AMAZING job at that!

another thing i want to point out because i admire it so much, is the relationship between the “main cast” in the finale. everyone was unique and contributed to the story, also woonhak being a spidey fan and never reading the room will always crack me up he truly was the perfect comic relief character for this -and him having this friend crush on leehan was so cute-. riwoo figuring out that leehan is spiderman as if it wasn’t obvious from the start, woonhak not shutting up and being reader and leehan’s self proclaimed child… ALL TOO PERFECT.

the relationship between reader and leehan was the cutest and the break up scene??? i was screaming at my phone with my hands in my hair i was panicking ROSYY U HAD ME STRESSING TF OUTTTT.

Sometimes you even find yourself crying when you wake up from a dream—of a bright smile that reminds you of the sun and the sea, of hair the colour of spun gold, of seeing the city from above, safe in his arms. Acceptance never really comes, but you hold a seat for it, terrified of the day it might arrive.

this part was what made me GASP cuz girlie was fighting for her life during that break up and had every reason to do so. that was the only part i wanted to punch leehan in the face too LOL and right after that *I* got punched by young leehan being a softie. (+ the switch between nerd awkward leehan and kickass spiderman will never fail to get me). OMG AND i really thought she was about to die but i’m so glad she’s alive 😭 -i read the comment where you said you were tempted to kill her… EVIL- and if i wasn’t crying already i started crying when i read the first sentence of the epilogue

if i had to choose which one of the four spideyhan parts i liked best (considering the finale as two parts and not just one) i’d say part 1.not because i didn’t like the other two I MEAN i love the whole series with all my heart!! part 1 set up the mood perfectly, it made me fall in love with the storyline, the couple, everything and hooked me from the first line.

part 2 had me STRESSING (again) cuz those two wouldnt confess like guys you’re head over heels for eo just KISS. part 3 had the perfect amount of action, funny moments, drama and it was a perfect build up i was so hyped while reading it. part 4 had miscommunication and angst with the happiest ending ever. truly the most perfect beginning AND ending i could’ve asked for!

and in the end, i want to shout out to your writing, amazing as usual, you do sososoosos well in every fic you post i’m always happy to read your works. i’ll hold this fic very close to my heart as weird and cringe as it sounds :) 💗

again, so honoured that my silly little (okay, maybe not little) fic is your favourite. your constant support from the very beginning means so much to me, there is no way id have written a sequel and a threequel if it weren’t for getting to see your lovely comments and reactions to my stories. it really does mean the world to me 💓 and im beyond ecstatic that we’re moots now and get to talk more often hehe!!

i tried very hard to no limit myself with words, and i think it paid off for sure… i also imagined it as movie scenes or comic panels (depending on which part i was writing) so i feel satisfied to hear that it translated well for readers too. the quartet was my fav thing to write hehe… they’re all so different in personality and add a different dynamic to the group that makes scenes feel less exhaustive and more fun. woonhak especially was my saviour for multiple reasons—he’s the pivot for shifting tones when the fic would get too serious or sad and i started worrying if that would make it a tiring reading experience. adding in riu and woonhak was probably the best decision i’ve made in this fic lolll

yes our girl was at her wit’s end omg, too bad her boyfriend is an idiot who wants to do everything himself 🙄(but tbf venom did have him going batshit insane so do we truly blame leehan?…) p.s. yes i was tempted the important part is that i did not give into it :)))

awww part one of the finale was definitely the sweetest imo (lots of kisses and them being head over heels hehe) and also funny moments right before shit begins to hit the fan welp.

i am honestly so sad that lovebug is over but i genuinely enjoyed reading it so much.

I too feel the same way tbh 🥲… love(bug) and its characters are very important to me and i had so much fun getting to write about them. I think out of all my fics, this is the one that was hardest to let go of (unsurprising, given that it’s 3 parts and almost 50k words in total lol). But you’ll be glad to know spideyhan and yn are living their best lives out there, still very much in love with eo hehe.
