love4asking, I’m following the build explained in this video (shown below). I’d certainly suggest the ‘Flame of the Firehawk’ shield, if you can handle the fire nova flashing every time your shield goes down. Also, once you have the ‘Release The Beast’ skill, you can get away with using (and I even suggest it if you trust yourself to use it quickly) really low capacity shields -- you need your health to be 1/3 to use the skill, so to completely spam the skill you want a shield that doesn't give TOO much resistance.
Also, get a class mod that gives additional melee damage and also allows you to put more points into ‘Silence The Voices’. I currently have 432% melee damage through filling that skill with 9 points, and using a class mod with 32% additional melee damage.
