"Lovecraft is Missing" was the title of a webcomic written and drawn by Larry Latham, a brilliant artist. The story takes place in the mid 1920s as a librarian, a writer and a priest are investigating the circumstances around the sudden disappearance of Howard Phillips Lovecraft.
Unfortunately, to this day the comic remains unfinished because its author died of cancer. His wife kept the comic online for a while after his death, but nowadays the website is gone.
It is a shame, because it was really good. I loved both the art and the writing and I was really interested in where the story was going.
Thankfully, the Internet Archive (this project is amazing by the way) has, I believe, kept a copy of most, if not all the pages. You can start reading there:

I have also archived the existing pages before the website went offline for my personal use, but it makes me sad to think his story will forever remain unfinished. And when the Internet Archive is gone - the likelihood of which keeps going up as copyright lobbyist groups are doing their best to kill it - who then will be left to remember it?
I will, at least. And if you go and read it, and it resonates with you, then maybe you will remember it too.
