It's funny - I've been working on personal graphic novel projects in my freetime for the past few years, but I've shared almost none of that. 😅

I find Kyudo (traditional japanese archery) to be fascinating. It feels less about hitting the target, and rather more about going through the motions with slow dedication, accuracy and correctness.

Having practiced western archery, I am not sure I would enjoy practicing Kyudo. To me, it feels closer to a martial art than to what we usually understand archery to be about. But I find it beautiful to watch, it looks very meditative and calming.

Still one of my favourite episodes ever, the horror was truly palpable.

so i watched the nice guys for the first time yesterday

I think this was my first Ryan Gosling movie, and what a blast that was. Russell Crowe was also great in that movie. They make a great duo, it's hard not to ship them.

Just a small CW/TW, if you can't tolerate some amount of violence, pain and nudity, this might not be the best movie for you.
