headcanoning that all malfoys only have one heir, one child, and it will always be a boy, but once, out of sheer luck, possibly just before abraxas malfoy was born, there was a set of twin boys. of course only the eldest became the successor, and the other cannon fodder. the chain continued for both boys, now young men, only one son each. until the grandson of the second twin defected and in doing so broke the magic of the malfoys, birthing the first ever malfoy girl, now a lovegood. the rest was forgotten, read hidden, history.

my hc pandora is more like a scientist, curious passionate ravenclaw girl

and it's make her relationship with xeno/lily works for me

like xeno is kinda weird, strange, daydreaming boy, who had same passion as panda's but for different things and pandora adores it so fucking much... like they can talk for hours about theirs magic theories, trying to prove it, making new charms, they even have a diary when they both write their own theories, experiments and discovery... its a perfect scientist & esoteric bimbo dynamic idk. like everyone thinks xeno are insane when he talk about his visions of things and panda be like "how can i make it true?"

and lily are exceptionally talented and hardworking witch, panda and her obviously spends all the time in the library cause they both so hungry for knowledge, magic world nuances and etc. lily always helps panda with her experiments cause pandora is passionate practical part of it while lils are theoretical studied one. and cause of lily is a muggle-born pandora shows and tells her everything she can about wizarding world. lils the one who brings fun and chills in pandora life, cause obviously panda ALWAYS are in her curious scientist mood??? and its lily who make sure pandora see enough sun and breath enough fresh air. little does she knows she is the only sun pandora needs in life.

Lovegood Family: -Xenophilius; -Pandora; -Luna.

I have a couple little HCs for the Lovegoods and their origin story...

In my writing or art they are always either

1. A couple who came together from two pure blooded families that they just didn't see eye to eye with (usually I go with Xeno as a Malfoy and Pandora as a Rosier twin). Because of this I like to picture them being socially cast out when they go against the grain, choosing for themselves their own last name as a sort of message and creed.

Or

2. Xeno is still a Malfoy (idk it just sticks), and is kicked out for marrying Pandora, taking her last name as a result.

I feel like 1. Is becoming more my favorite origin story as it just fits their personalities very well, but 2 is still fun.

I like to think of them as the floaty couple who are also queer platonic/polyamorus and so have different situations going on at different times. Like in one fic I was planning out, Pandora and Lily end up together and after a situation ship with James ends up giving a split custody over Harry, they decide to even it out by getting Pandora pregnant with Luna around a year later.
