What is love, if not a song
I hear it once and im not sure
But as i listen more
Im hooked
Over time i cant seem to get it out of my head
The same verses seem to stick til death
I give it another play and
I seem to come at ease now
The song brought me to peace how
What is love, if not a book
As i begin, the story pulls me in
And pages flipped as plot thickens
Anticipation, anxiety
I cant wait til its over, but
At the same time i dont want it to
I want this book to begin a new
I want to revisit that feeling
Even if i know how it begins and ends
Id like to revisit again
What is love if not a trip
A shoelace, a plane, a drug, seems insane
But love can be many things
The hardest part is realizing what it really is
Shall it fill you up
Or shall it break you down
This little house you built
Love huffed and puffed and now
Your alone in this space
