It’s Father’s Day and my boys are sound asleep as I have my morning coffee.

This is my favorite time of the day. A time when I can reflect on yesterday and dream about today..

I pray that my boys will grow to be strong, loving, caring men.

I pray that they give and love unconditionally.

The best part of my life are my son’s and I am determined to change the norm… Love and Respect and Peace..

These boys are what drive me to be a better man. They make me want to love and give everyday.

I pray for myself that I’m able to show them the right path in life.

My son’s are my life….

New norms or the same struggle

I miss my kids when they are gone, but find it hard to stay calm instantly after the return. The normal tension between brothers, the attitude you’d expect from any kid… I know its coming and I naturally struggle with my reaction…

The norm for so long has been quick to yell, quick to dicipline, quick to lecture, quick to elevate it more than needed…

Today’s norm will be 100% loving and supportive…

The new norm will support the growth of self-confident, loving, gentlemen that will love life and thrive as strong, loving adults…

I’ve cheated myself and those I love because I allowed pain of past experiences to control my outlook on how to love and how to give of myself...

You are no stranger to pain, you are no stranger to depression... Its part of life. You will get hurt and disappointed regardless of the situation. 

GIVE and LOVE others with all of the EFFORT you have inside of you. 

Leave a legacy of LOVE and pray that you will be remembered for being a lover...

Loving myself when I look back and realize the numerous mistakes I’ve made in my life is going to be difficult…

How will my son’s view me in 10 years…

Will I ever love myself enough to truly be loved and do life with a good woman…

Forgive yourself for your own failures… Love and life can’t begin without your forgiveness. ..

I quietly yearn for someone to listen to me, to understand me, and get hurt and feel badly that I’m misunderstood.

The saddest part about this realization is that I haven’t taken the time to see those closest to me quietly seeking undersranding, love, and safety….

Why have I have I not taken time to see the world I have in front of me screaming for my love…

My view on Marriage after my Divorce was WRONG!

My view on Giving blindly has been WRONG!

Take time to love yourself and give 100% of yourself to the world you want to build.

be a better daddy

I realize that I have cheated my son’s by not taking care of them the way a father should…

I need to give them a home they can be comfortable in…

Do things for them to make them feel taken care of…

Use kind words of encouragement instead of harsh lectures…

Show them how to love themselves…

Show them how to love a woman…
