I'm someone who's stuck in between knowledge. I miss studying. I miss the hustle of trying to finish an assignment. I miss binge watching a show after finishing an assignment. I miss the devouring of knowledge. I love knowing. Not as a know it all. But for my own self. I love knowledge and I love books and I love learning. I love the calm after the exam. I love the longing for the result. I love the yearning for academia. Every step of it.

CLASSES - I love teaching, obviously! I’m always excited about sharing. In Melbourne on the 20th of April and in Brisbane on the 11th of May, I will be running short introductory workshops - Copperplate for Beginners, and Flourishing - and I would love-love-love to see you guys there! . Also open is the May 2019 Copperplate Term Study - if you’ve had enough of doing short courses and want to spend five Thursday nights getting a little bit more in-depth with your copperplate, I’d love to help you there. I feel like I only just wrapped up the last one but I’m so dang proud of everything my students did - you guys are all amazing! It was a very cold day yesterday in Toronto, yet my heart was warm after watching Pinocchio @nationalballet The sets and costumes are whimsical, the music is clever and playful at times. Definitely not a classic or typical ballet, but it is a fun and entertaining production. It was great to see so many kids enjoying an art form that usually eludes them. ******************************* Pinocho, la marioneta que quería ser un niño de verdad - Pinocchio, the puppet that wanted to be a real boy. There are a few ways of saying it in Spanish: Pinocho quería ser un niño VERDADERO/ DE VERDAD/ REAL. Let's use them in different examples: Es un verdadera maravilla - It is a true wonder. Es una historia de verdad - It is a true story. Las antigüedades son reales, no son réplicas - The antiques are real, they are not replicas. ******************************* Last but not least, yes, I love the @Yankees too ⚾️. Ok - my second attempt at painting a person! Funnily enough, two separate people thought this was Nicholas Cage! Maybe they share similar features, or I am just not very good yet ;) This is Miranda Hart, one of my favourite British comedians. This one is taking a while as my confidence in skin tones is.... low!
