Bubba shrank back in fear, though his space was limited now. Before him stood his ex-boyfriend turned killer, the air around them charged with electricity. He pressed his back against the wall. He wished he wasn’t alone right, anything for someone to take the focus off of him. He had hoped to avoid the killer all round or at least have someone else nearby but… luck was never really on his side. He was sweating and it was hard to breathe, especially cornered like this by the man you used to love.
He knew Herman was in there somewhere, he had had moments of clarity before. His heart pounded as he watched him, he had barely heard the words from his mouth. He bit back a small whimper, glancing around for any way he can escape. Anywhere he can possibly get the hell out of this situation. He was scared and he knew Cart- Herman knew it.
He could barely bring himself to look at him normally but he had to in this case. He looked so different now. So different from all the trials and nights at the camp with him and Michael, cuddled up in the warmth of the fire. He pulled his mind away from those thoughts, they wouldn’t help him now. He needed to get away.
Herman was leaning over him, one hand supporting him against the wall and other armed with his weapon. It was so odd to see Bubba so scared-- it was like he didn’t know he was trying to help him! He lifted his weapon, digging the pointed end of his stick into the soft skin under his chin to ensure that he stayed looking at him.
“Bubba~ We’re not going to get anywhere if you keep refusing to talk to me like this!” He tried to stifle a giggle, but didn’t exactly succeed since it came out more as a snort, “...I hope you’re not planning on trying to run away again.”
