He tried it once. Fourteen. Stupid.

He didn’t have a reason for it. Just couldn’t think of a reason not to.

Pressed between his lips. Lighter raised.

It had seemed like such a harmless thing, one quick inhale, but it had caught in the back of his throat.

One quick inhale and he’d been four again.

It had stuck in his throat that night too. Bitter. Stinging. Until his eyes had burned from it. It had clung to his hair, his clothes, his baby brother, as he’d run from the house. He’d been able to smell it for days. Weeks. Sometimes he thinks he still does.

He’d dropped the cigarette to the floor. Hadn’t bothered to stub it out. And though he’d turned his back on it. Still. It had smouldered away.

ahh well that's gonna be interesting. I'm gonna have to plan on watching all that live. yeah i just really hope bonnie doesn't have to die for elena to be back...... also apprehensive about jumping the gun and assuming elena's back when nina's no set... like what if it's not what we think it is.. i'mg onna be so upset lol I'm gonna be upset regardless though probably ~~~~ haha

yeah i’m gonna watch it live bc now it’s on friday’s i don’t have to worry about not getting sleep since it’s the weekend

yeah but i just can’t see them bringing nina back for her to play katherine and not play elena, it would anger a big chunk of the remaining fans and that would sort of ruin the finale

plus they’ve always hinted at her coming back for the finale and i doubt nina would come back for something small so i’m guessing the final episode will be predominantly about her since the series is really about her

idk i suppose we shouldn’t get our hopes up bc it is tvd and they seem to love screwing everyone over but i just don’t see nina being on board with that sort of bait and switch tbh

i know, i can already picture myself in tears just from the special, i’ll be crying before the finale even starts
