Loyle-Carner - “Tierney Terrace”

Solo por ser capaz de encapsular la habitual megalomanía bombástica de Kanye West en una delicada y desnuda miniatura, ya se advierte que en Loyle-Carner habita un talento especial. Si el “Heard ’Em Say” del de Chicago con Adam Levine ya era bonito, la versión juvenil y temblorosa de este londinense en el vídeo de la BBC1, con tos incluida, es desarmante. 

Hasta que vi esa actuación hoy mientras comía, nada sabía de ese muchacho. Pocas horas después ya he leído un par de reportajes sobre su rap calmado y confesional, tan doméstico como los videoclips que él mismo dirige, y he escuchado sus canciones que, de momento, son pocas. Pero son grandes, como este “Tierney Terrace”.
