Totally fair assessment, Christianity is supposed to be a roller-coaster rather than a forced self-salvation, wicked sinner style. It's too bad they chose to go with the big budget over-stimulation, an unrealistic ploy to impress—and yes to the implausible conclusion that AI is capable of feeling or anything more than what it is pre-programmed to execute. It might be able to draw conclusions no one else has made simply from it's database of questions & answers & samples of thesis to follow-thru on. I think Chris Pratt needs to break out of his type cast, but the movie plot is a let down, or maybe he was never a good actor unless he is playing himself?

I think this ties in nicely with the reason why the best of intentions will never play out as we had initially envisioned; too many ppl vying to keep old power in play at the cost of the nation. This is currently the case as ai sweeps untold numbers into the fringes, reducing middle class yet again, s/t some have said they are "against in theory." But given everyone likes to consider themselves part of the ruling class, it is not hard to see how easily each player is roped into the socialist movement that tries to keep the dream alive. There is no way to avoid the tide of spendthrifts who advise "go for broke," like another poker game you can't lose bc you already are. This mindset is tangential to the void of nihilism, how we assume nothing we do will matter in the long run despite feeling greater amounts of remorse & pain along the way through our tiny allotment of time. In many ways I see American Politics as a form of Mafia Culture, which strong arms & bluffs the world to their way of seeing things bc to let others be would amount to not living to their full potential. I think that is why so much of what they spend their money on is centred on death to others, by way of strangling foreign markets or threatening violence. They don't actually think what they do is right or wrong bc they live in a time capsule which enables them to have tunnel vision clarity to make their choices in a vacuum, the only context that matters is whether "I get to have what I want." I s/x wonder how long this will persist before they get a lesson handed back to them, like why are they so free to do as they will all the time while the rest of us sit idly by? The ones who moved off to the EU are not innocent, they still sport "I love NYC.." [They are completely fine with the way its politicians bully others.]
