saw the interview with Luca saying Marc forgot to reply to many of his messages. But it’s just Luca messaging him about Vale at 2 in the morning.

‘Vale still talks about you, you know’

‘Can you guys make up, he won’t stop whining about you again :(’

‘Marc please, Vale is drunk and starts crying. Call him please’

‘I know you still have feelings for him. Alex told me’

‘Vale saw your picture on ig and almost had an aneurysm, please stop it Marc’

He was always left on read. And on some random tuesday morning, Marc woke up to Alex and Luca making out passionately in his and Alex’s kitchen. Then both of them left without saying a word to Marc and when he tried to message Luca asking what’s going on. Luca was just like ‘So now you wanna talk to me, huh?’

A possible rosquez reconsilation would be Vale finding out that Alex is fucking (dating) Luca in 2020 and he's so pissed that he does the one thing he knows will piss Alex of as much maybe even more. He slides in Marc's dms and invites him to the ranch. Now that gets Alex angry because 1. Alex knows they are going to hook up. 2. Marc is technically not allowed to race bc of his arm but that is excatly what makes Marc go. Like it's during the times the mechanics/ Alex took the wheels off the bike and he is going CRAZY. And then he sees THAT message. The only response Vale gets is "I'm at the airport rn. Flight will land at 3pm."

i would set it like right here right now. post le mans. marc groggy and disoriented from the surgery, one arm and one leg down for the count, ass busted over his designation. alex trying to protect him and stop them from taking his brother gets gassed too, collapsing on the floor of the hospital. the sheer terror when alex wakes first in a glass cage somewhere underground the auction above, arms bound, trying to wiggle around like a worm to get to the still-unconscious marc. both of them hauled onto a stage, spotlights glaring into their eyes, mostly alex's because marc is nodding off still high off the painkillers. oooh if you've watched iwtv, the scene where claudia and her lover madeline are on trial, that's the vibe: marc, dazed, looking around, alex, alex, are we on trial?

alex holding him tight against his chest, trying to shield from hungry, predatory eyes as the countdown starts and the numbers soar.

and amidst the crowd there's a number 46 waiting to bid.
