He still wears the clothes he had on the mission, that of a simple carpenter.

I wasn’t aware you were on a mission. What was the report about?

He looks at the snail for a moment, then dials the number he remembers and waits for her to pick up.

"Hello my dear orchid." he keeps his voice low, but not yet a whisper.

"How are you doing over there?" he missed her to say the least.

[Her mouth twitches into a short smile after having picked up her snail.]

Sweet boy, did we not agree to keep the number just for emergencies?

[She asks sweetly, although she doesn't sound too put out by it. In fact, she's glad to hear his voice.]

Do they tend to reflect the better qualities of those they surround themselves with? Or, if they are more of the loner type, do they lead by example and distantly encourage others?

Thanks for the question! I'll answer with my commanders!

Nettle's inspiration for leadership comes from what ze has learnt, both from books and people, and that's what ze has tried to emulate to an unhealthy degree. Along the way Nettle has learnt that ze can be a person and a leader at the same time. I'd say ze definitely has reflected some qualities of people ze considered/considers mentors, but those qualities weren't necessarily the better ones.

For Lucci, her leadership is trusting herself and her instincts. That's to say, she won't say no to insight from an ally, or divide tasks she knows are better suited to others rather to her. I'd say she can be inspired/influenced by others, but she's also very headstrong and set in her ways.
