He looks at the snail for a moment, then dials the number he remembers and waits for her to pick up.

"Hello my dear orchid." he keeps his voice low, but not yet a whisper.

"How are you doing over there?" he missed her to say the least.

[Her mouth twitches into a short smile after having picked up her snail.]

Sweet boy, did we not agree to keep the number just for emergencies?

[She asks sweetly, although she doesn't sound too put out by it. In fact, she's glad to hear his voice.]

[ a small critter made of sand crawls up to her feet and hits its tiny head against her leg like a cat might. ] [ he is saying hello! ]

Mh?

[Robin glances down to her feet and blinks, once. A creature... made of sand. Now where does she know that from?]

[An amused, knowing smile spreads on her lips. She places her book aside and bends down, the shadow created by her cattleman hat shielding the critter from the sun. With a single finger she reaches out and softly taps the creature's little head.]

You could just come in person, you know? Not that this isn't endearing.

[She lays her palm flat, offering the tiny sandodile to climb on if he wishes.]

[ the sand critter crawls into her hand and curls up, chewing on her finger. it doesn't hurt. it is sand smacking at her, essentially. and some sort of tiny grinding sand noise - it's purring. ]

[ he can hear her, sure. but this little sandodile is only a minor extension of himself. ]

[Once the little thing is curled up on her palm, she sits back up properly. There is a softness in her eyes, despite the persisting mild amusement dancing in them as well. Lifting the hand holding him, she pets his back and top of the head gently.]

You're almost cute like this.

[Robin muses, not at all bothered by the nibbling.]

BREAKING NEWS: The Queen of Arabasta's Resignation

TODAY former Queen Vivi Nefertari ( @vivi-desert-princess-official ) of the Kingdom of Arabasta has publicly announced her resignation as queen and from any and all alliances held.

According to her speech, "For the past two months or so, I have struggled to look past and tolerate the World Government’s mindless corruption and ignorance for struggling civilizations. Over the past several years I have had to deal with the memory of the World Government and Marines doing absolutely nothing to aid my country when it had been under the rule of Sir Crocodile." And as of today, has cut herself off from all official figures and lesser groups.

It can't be said currently where her allegiances stand now, or how matters of the kingdom will be handled, but the W.E.N.P. will keep you posted!
