There was a moment of silence, the young man took a good look at the poor people lining up for the government’s weekly free rations for them. Seeing how they fight to be in front of each other was already a saddening sight--  to think that he wanted to do something for these people, but at the same time he didn’t want to due to their actions.

“ Fighting to be ahead of everyone. Sad isn’t it? ”

He is trying to get gud™ at Smash Bros at the store and he cannot be any more saltier than the ocean right now.   ....Maybe it’s because he’s holding the Wii controller with the top of it facing upwards. Regardless he looks mad.

         ♩♫ Yep... He should have known better; and yet, here he is messing up this friendship... Stupid. Matei didn’t want to speak, he didn’t want to ruin it any further so he just let the uncomfortable silent continue until he finally stood up to leave... Probably forever if this was going to go the way his mind was plaguing it was going to go.

I warned you....

Shut up! I rather not talk to you right now Remus.

His mind was like an ongoing war at this point but he just put on a smile and bowed slightly to Kou before finally speaking.

     ↳ Thank you for having me over but I think I want to go home a little earlier today... Bye. “

And with that he hurried off to the door to put on his shoes as quickly as possible. He didn’t want to deal with the rejection.

The hybrid was noticeably a few feet shorter than the other. Only standing at 5"0' Ken's ears twitched-- Breathing as he looked at the other. Brown orbs blinking. Ken spoke-- Mouth opening as he asked--

"Hello -- A-Ah yes-- Um. Do you possibly serve Coffee's at this café-- If so -- Could I have one please-" The hybrid gave his best smile. Ears twitching as he smiled.

( ✣ ) ----   Hands stained with grease and dirt were pat against his jeans without another thought towards the state of the denim. His jobs may pay well, but they sure weren’t easy. He did get a few free classes out of helping out around the campus, though, so that was a perk. Not to mention how smoking on campus was a big no-no even if it was similar to incense. He had to sneak off on more than one occasion to de-stress--which is what he happened to be doing as he rounded a particularly thick tree trunk to hide.

  “O-oh, uh. Didn’t think anyone would be hiding here.” Maybe he had to count his prayers. “Uh... you won’t... tell anyone about this, will you? Please?”
