Truly, the biggest crush I've had in the TVDU. All the others, I was like, oh yeah, they're hot. This... it's something above the rest. Seriously, Andrew Lees, you've started something and now unfortunately, I have to add your name to a very long list.
Long-haired stable boy Lucien, not so hot. Cute, yes. I'd still very much tap that. Modern day Lucien, who owns a penthouse and wears button-up shirts... let's just say that I'd fold in an instant if I were Freya. I know he bit her and had her as a hostage, but she can very much handle her own, especially since she snapped his neck and channelled him, kinda against his will... and if it were me, all the tender caresses to the cheek, the kissing of the hands, calling her a minx... my English ass couldn't resist.
The way Lucien was introduced… as a terrified stable boy turned into a suave, lavish old pal and first sired vampire of Klaus Mikaelson… it was just too interesting to me.
His dedication and love to the women in his life, such as Aurora or Alexis, was a trait of his that I was shocked to see, given that he was the villain. And in my opinion, there wasn’t much toxicity when it came to that love, other than the fact that his love for Aurora was bound to ruin him and it was one sided. Even his flirting with Freya. Although it was to gain her trust for a scheme to kill her family, I was sick enough to be flustered when he showed up with flowers and tucked one in her hair, when he said his stamina has never been a problem, when he pinned Kol up against a wall for shoving her, or most prominently when he kneeled down and kissed her hands, genuinely gutted as he says “you and I could’ve been quite the thing”.
