Human Again

Normally after three days locked in a cell Kelli would have been happy to get out but since she knew where she was being taken and what would happen when she got there she wasn’t in a good mood. The sterile atmosphere of the lab reminded her of Marshall, her skin crawled at the thought of the man that had manipulated and used her.

The guard that had been escorting her pulled Kelli over to an examination table and strapped her down. “Dr. Gaudet will be here shortly,” he informed her in a monotone voice. “I can’t wait,” the meta responded sarcastically, rolling her eyes. “Will we have tea and biscuits when he get here?” her sass was only greeted with a cold glare and silence while they waited for the head of R&D.
