is Patrick Rothfuss gay or is he like Matt where every PC he plays is a homosexual
#patrick rothfuss#matt mercer#matthew mercer#kerrek#lucient#like Matt has#leiland#dariax#and#jack brakkow#all of which are queer men which is interesting to me#like yeah it’s a fantasy world it probably isn’t fun to be like ‘yeh I’m straight so I will ONLY play straight men’#but I guess I turn an eyebrow because the relationships these characters have with other men tend to be clear or important to the character#kerrek and dariax having flirtations with other PCs#Jack being very clearly flustered by and having flirtations with garthy#and lucient and leiland having some sort of relationship with men important in driving some of their actions#leiland having feelings for his boss leading to a fierce loyalty ahd toxicity towards maggie#and lucient more wholesomely having had a relationship with a party member who died and who he wants to bring back#also idk if im misremembering but I felt like Jack also had a sort of…queer feelings or dynamic or even just a flame for the man who#betrayed their crew#the reason I point all this out is that typically when I see other male PCs they feel like they just don’t engage with romance at all#and even if they do they pursue women (typically npcs)#so to see these guys as players not only pursue storylines and dynamics about romance but doing so almost always with mlm characters#is just intriguing to me#and I suppose I just wonder why that is#Pat and Matt secretly gay 😳⁉️#<- this is a joke
