The dresses worn by Caroline Bingley and Louisa Hurst are one of my personal fashion highlights in all of Pride and Prejudice (1995)... so to see them up close was simply delightful. If the dresses weren't already impressive enough on their own, look at those accessories, too! I love the necklaces and head pieces.
The costumes for Mr Bingley's sisters were made of much more expensive material than those of the Bennet sisters with a brighter colour palette of oranges, pinks and greens. It definitely shows! According to one of the information cards... unlike the other characters, Caroline and Louisa never wear the same outfits twice, in order to emphasise their wealth and desire to follow the latest London trends. I've never noticed that before but something to look out for the next time you watch!
