Getting to see Frozen with my best friends and our daughters was such a gift! ⠀ ⠀ The show was spectacular, but watching these little girls light up was that feeling you get on a Christmas morning. It’s good. You can feel it in your soul good. ⠀ ⠀ I admit taking an 8 year old and 5 year old to New York City seemed daunting, but they were troopers! We stayed out until at least midnight every night and they never cried about being tired. I knew taking @iplandisney to @vintagepickin would be fun! ⠀ ⠀ She was open minded when I would try and talk her into buying something. We looked at tables, grain bins, chest of drawers, and so many nostalgic Christmas decorations! ⠀ ⠀ Check out my stories for the table that folds and swivels, mantels, doors, cabinets of drawers, corbels (so many corbels) and so much more. If you haven’t been to this barn sale before, find the date for the spring one and market on your calendar! ⠀ ⠀ We ended up with these baskets that she’s going to use as a dog bed for her Jack and I still don’t know what I’ll use mine for, but the color is great and it’s not too deep. I haven't talked much about my weekend workshop with @kristen_ley, but it was life changing. So much so, that it's hard to put into words in one post. ⠀ ⠀ That's why I'm going to break it down a little at a time. ⠀ ⠀ One of the bonuses of the workshop was to be able to work with Beth Morgan Photography to get some new headshots and fun product shots! ⠀ ⠀ I haven't been in front of the camera much since my vitligo has taken over so much of my face. I guess it's a little insecurity and a lot that I feel like I look like I have a turtleneck on. (laughing at myself, feel free to laugh with me)⠀ ⠀ I don't really think too much of my vitiligo. I do wonder why I got it and what that means my immune system is doing. It's obviously weakened and I hope to build it back up enough that no other auto immune diseases attack my body. ⠀ ⠀ The vitiligo is continuing to move and the good news is where there is no pigment, there is no sun damage. So, all that sun damage to my face is gone.
