Getting to see Frozen with my best friends and our daughters was such a gift! ⠀ ⠀ The show was spectacular, but watching these little girls light up was that feeling you get on a Christmas morning. It’s good. You can feel it in your soul good. ⠀ ⠀ I admit taking an 8 year old and 5 year old to New York City seemed daunting, but they were troopers! We stayed out until at least midnight every night and they never cried about being tired. I loved today!! What a fun experience to be at @parkwayplacemall in the @pimentosathens pop-up shop! I enjoyed talking to everyone who had never heard of my line, several who watched #beachflip on @Hgtv and some of my forever friends! I was there for around 6 hours and the 4 people that I’ve known for at least 25 years all showed up at the same time! Why didn’t we get a pic of everyone? Well, my aunt Linda took this one and little did she know she would have to take several before one was approved! Raise your hand if you’ve ever done that 🙋🏻‍♀️. I’m thankful for all of it. Doing shows in new places is always just to meet people. There are no $$ expectations because it’s just important to get out there...in front of people...and talk to them! I knew taking @iplandisney to @vintagepickin would be fun! ⠀ ⠀ She was open minded when I would try and talk her into buying something. We looked at tables, grain bins, chest of drawers, and so many nostalgic Christmas decorations! ⠀ ⠀ Check out my stories for the table that folds and swivels, mantels, doors, cabinets of drawers, corbels (so many corbels) and so much more. If you haven’t been to this barn sale before, find the date for the spring one and market on your calendar! ⠀ ⠀ We ended up with these baskets that she’s going to use as a dog bed for her Jack and I still don’t know what I’ll use mine for, but the color is great and it’s not too deep. Connor and I are honored to pray for @campusoutreach and what they are doing globally. ⠀ ⠀ Kent reached out to me recently to help create a gift to those who were the initial supporters of the program 40 years ago! ⠀ ⠀ I couldn’t be prouder of what we came up with alongside @newly.scripted , Amber Rosenberg. We needed something for them to display that would honor what they started in Birmingham, Alabama and show the reach world wide. ⠀ ⠀ We also wanted it to be a conversation starter to bring others to know how the gospel is being brought to countries where it’s never been known and where someone can be persecuted for being a Christian. ⠀ ⠀ It’s truly unreal how an idea came to fruition by a small group of believers and has been upheld over the years. I haven't talked much about my weekend workshop with @kristen_ley, but it was life changing. So much so, that it's hard to put into words in one post. ⠀ ⠀ That's why I'm going to break it down a little at a time. ⠀ ⠀ One of the bonuses of the workshop was to be able to work with Beth Morgan Photography to get some new headshots and fun product shots! ⠀ ⠀ I haven't been in front of the camera much since my vitligo has taken over so much of my face. I guess it's a little insecurity and a lot that I feel like I look like I have a turtleneck on. (laughing at myself, feel free to laugh with me)⠀ ⠀ I don't really think too much of my vitiligo. I do wonder why I got it and what that means my immune system is doing. It's obviously weakened and I hope to build it back up enough that no other auto immune diseases attack my body. ⠀ ⠀ The vitiligo is continuing to move and the good news is where there is no pigment, there is no sun damage. So, all that sun damage to my face is gone.
