Basically, Luda Mae was dying, so she and the reader made a plan to get thomas and the reader out of there. so luda dies, the reader comforts thomas, and they pack up and get in a car that actually ran and worked, and thomas and the reader sleep in the car after they drive for a while.

I remember it was very much reverse comfort where the reader was helping thomas through everything.

That's all I remember, and it might not be 100% accurate, but that's pretty much it.

rewatching texas chainsaw massacre the beginning and the start of the movie is just so sad for me to watch when tommy is cutting off parts of his face and burning young pictures of himself. ever since he was young enough to have ears, he’s heard that he’s deformed, ugly, disgusting to look at, and that he’s abnormal. it’s all he was ever told, on top of being called ret*rded and struggling in school. this kind of bullying can completely change how a person sees the world. the amount of emotional trauma from this can be unbearable. he caught and skinned animals as a form of catharsis, causing him to be completely ostracized from society making matters even worse. humans naturally need to be accepted by other humans. so the emotion of being rejected completely from society is so incredibly painful. all because he doesn’t look like how a regular human would look like. imagine the amount of pure self hatred, betrayal, absolute despair that thomas was in, for him to literally take a knife and start cutting off the imperfections from his face. it was almost like he fantasized in his mind that if he could cut off the bad parts, he would finally be normal and not seen as a monster, and be accepted. and then when he saw that he was seen just the same, that’s when he started to accept that part of him and became the monster everyone said he was. monsters are created, not born.

Happy Mothers Day to any mothers following me!

Luda Mae:

You and Thomas had been working tirelessly into the night, carful not to make too much noise. You didn’t want to wake anyone in the house, certainly not Hoyt, the grumpy bastard. Recently you’d been given more freedom, as the family trusted you, well at least 3/4 of them did. So you’d gone into town to gather some stuff from the market.

You’d picked out a pretty new dress for Mamma Mae, and you and Tommy got matching outfits in her favourite colour. You had decorated the whole house while she was sleeping. With Banners and balloons. You’d worked on making the cake and other sweets while Thomas did all the dirty work. As a finishing touch you wanted to put some of Mae’s favourite flowers on the chandelier, but even Thomas was two short to do so.

“Hey Tommy, can you come here for a second baby?”

He approached behind you, placing a hand on your waist to grab your attention. He looked down at you quizzically. You held a scattered and messy bouquet of flowers in your hand.

“Think you can give me a boost?”

Thomas was hesitant, and a bit confused, but he trusted you. So he easily lifted you into the air, letting you prop yourself up on his hand. Then you placed the flowers delicately on the light. You were about to fall, but Thomas was quick to catch you. You nuzzled into his chest with a small squeak, not wanting to make too much noise.

“Sorry Tommy, should have been more carful.”

The man glared down at you, but his look softened when he saw how sincere you were.

“Come on, let’s get some rest, gotta be up in a few hours to make breakfast.”

When morning came, the two of you snuck back into the kitchen. You were set on cooking, and Thomas was set to clean. You made pancakes and fruit salad, biscuits and gravy, bacon and some fresh squeezed orange juice. The table was set and everything was perfect, but something was missing. You heard the house inhabitants stir, and you quickly discarded your apron, fixing your shirt and reaching up to smooth out Tommy’s hair.

“Ready?”

He gave a nod. Hoyt and Monty were the first to stumble into the kitchen.

“The hell is all this?” Hoyt grumbled.

You glared at the man, the man, thinking he should be more greatful.

“Now don’t tell me you forgot old man” Monty joked.

“Go get mama.” You whispered to Thomas.

He brought he into the kitchen, hand over her eyes, and gently lead her to her seat at the table. The woman chuckled softly.

“Smells nice in here. What did you two get up to?”

She suddenly felt something he placed on her head, and Thomas removed his hands. The flower crown you made looked lovely on her, bringing out her hair and eye colours. You watched as he eyes lit up at the spread before here. Thomas left her side to grab the cake. As he placed it down in front of you, you declared loudly enough for the both of you.

“Happy Mothers Day mama!”

Luda looked stunned, nearly tearing up.

“You did all this for little old me?”

Thomas nodded ecstatically, wanting his moms approval.

“Oh come here you too.”

The woman pulled you both into a bone crushing hug, and kissed you each on your forehead. A silent declaration of her love and appreciation.

“Now sit, enjoy the fruits of your labour”

The rest of the day went off without a hitch, and you’d never seen Thomas happier.

Margaret White:

You ran you hand over Carrie’s thigh, stroking it lightly in comfort. She had been high strung since the start of the month, knowing what holiday was coming up. You knew she dreaded this holiday, but at least she had you. She had her favourite person, and that’s all that mattered.

“Remember, we can always leave if she says anything, ok. We can come right back here.”

The two of you got dressed in simply, yet comfortable outfits. Not wanting to put too much effort, but not wanting her mother to make a statement on it. You held her hand and she gripped yours tightly in return. You walked into her mothers house with your head held high.

“Oh children, come in, come in!”

You heard from the kitchen. You made your way around and greeted her as kindly as you could muster.

“Happy Mother’s Day Miss Margaret.”

“Thank you.”

“Yeah, Happy Mother’s Day, Mom.” Carrie muttered.

“What have I told you about mumbling? And stop slouching.”

I bit back a glare, watching as Carrie straightened instantly. God you hated this woman.

“Need any help finishing the dinner?”

“You’re far too kind child, if you could just set the table. And Carrie, could you bring my my bible from the prayer room”.

This time you visibly stiffened. This woman had the audacity.

“Actually I can-“

“It’s alright sweetie, I’ve got it.” Carrie assured.

You knew she was strong. But I hated seeing her have to face her trauma like this. If only she had killed her mother that night, instead of just injuring her. Stubborn woman should have stayed dead. You set the table with her in silence and waited for your love to return. She looked paler but you quickly gave her a soft smile. As you prayed over the meal, you sent a secret prayer that tonight would go well. But apparently god had other plans.

“Carrie, dear don’t you think you should have worn something a little more modest?”

You rolled your eyes.

“I do believe we are wearing the same dress Miss White, if the dress doesn’t look immodest on me, how could it possibly on your daughter?”

She couldn’t respond, and you smirked at that, feeling that you’d one. But one after another the comments came, and you could tell it was wearing down. It wasn’t until you were alone in the kitchen with her, cleaning the dishes when she said something you’d never forget.

“You know, you’re a sweet kid- but I can’t get over the fact that what you’re doing is wrong. You shouldn’t be with my daughter, especially not after she’s already been with a man. You should pray on it, and hope you don’t burn in hell.”

That’s when you lost it. How dare she be homophobic, and to her own daughter none the less. Before you could stop yourself, you punched her square in the nose, breaking it.

“Carrie!” You called.

She was by your side in an instant, looking confused when she saw you cradling your fist and her mother babying her nose.

“Tell your mother goodnight, we’re leaving.”

“Goo-“

The words didn’t even finish leaving her mouth before you pulled her outside. The second you were on the porch you pulled her close, kissing her deeply.

“Happy Mothers Day my love, really wish you had a better one”.

You leaned her head into hers, breathing her scent.

“Now let’s get you home, yeah?”

Norma Bates:

Norman had kept you far away from his mother. It was something you never understood since he always spoke so highly of her. But you couldn’t help but notice the Mother’s Day signs around town. And the endless chatter at the shops, and in the motel.

This made you antsy, your own mother was no longer around. So this holiday didn’t hold much meaning to you until now. You wanted to celebrate, to celebrate Norman’s mother for raising the gentleman you knew and loved today. He was kind, attentive, sensitive, passionate, everything you ever dreamed of. And if Norma raised him, you wanted to thank her for doing so.

But you couldn’t go behind his back. So you asked him, at dinner the day before.

“Norman, my sweet…”

“Yes, Love?”

“I know it’s a sore subject, but- do you promise not to get upset?”

He turned his attention fully to you now. Leaving his post at the sink and drying his hands. He gently placed them on your hips.

“I promise to keep my temper, now what is bothering you.”

“It’s about your Mother… Norman I really want to meet her. I mean tomorrow’s Mother’s Day-“

“How kind of you. You want to wish her a Happy Mother’s Day.”

“I really do Norman. Why won’t you let me meet her?”

“It’s complicated, but I will ask if she’s ready to meet tomorrow ok?”

You kissed him on the cheek.

“Ok. Thank you.”

But everything started to make sense the next morning. You awoke to the smell of a fresh breakfast being made, and lazily made you way downstairs. You expected to see the love of your life, but where caught off guard when you saw a woman.

“Mrs. Bates?”

She hummed lightly. You grabbed the glass of water from your side of the table and took a sip.

“I’m so glad you decided to meet me finally. Oh and Happy Mother’s Day! You did a fantastic job raising Norman.”

“We’ll thank you Dearie, you Mother did a good job with you too. Or so my Norman tells me. Please sit, eat.”

It wasn’t until she turned around that you finally understood. There was no Norma, at least not how you’d think. There you boyfriend stood, dressed in his mothers clothes, smiling like there was no tomorrow.

“Sorry Norman couldn’t join us for breakfast, he was busy down at the motel. It will just be us today Darling.”

You indulged his fantasy.

“We’ll I’m happy to get to know you Norma. We’re family now.”

Pamela Voorhees:

Jason was out in the Forrest, dealing with some unfortunate trespassers. He was always tense on this day, at least that’s what Pam explained to you. He wanted to be the best Mama’s boy there is, and he was, no competition. But sometimes he needed a little reminder.

So you did the only thing you knew that could help him. You cleaned the entire house top to bottom. Decorating the inside with every flower you could find within walking distance form the house. Jason didn’t want you out when victims could be around to hurt you, and you respected that. But you wanted everything to be perfect. You brewed the morning tea, made the cupcakes, slaved over lunch. Everything was perfect.

Of course you knew Pam was watching, she was always watching. But never in a malicious way. She wanted you safe, just like her sun did. But she knew better than to ruin the illusion of surprise. So she waited for the right time to come say hello. And that’s when you heard the trip wire bells go off. Jason, your Jason, was home. You ran to greet him, not much caring that you got blood on you in the process. Jason was confused when you beamed up at him happily. Normally you weren’t this touchy when he got back from a kill, he never wanted you seeing him like this.

“Come on handsome, let’s get you cleaned up.”

You lead him to the bathroom, helping him undress, and undressing yourself in the process. The two of you stepped into the warm shower you had ready. You helped him wash up and gave him an outfit to match yours when you were done.

“Is the prettiest boy in the whole world ready to visit his Mama?” You asked.

Jason’s eyes light up at the mention of his mom. How could he have forgotten what day it is. But that’s when you saw the panic.

“Don’t worry My Love, I have everything set and perfect.”

He gave you a small kiss on the cheek to show your appreciation. Leaving his mask on the bed as it would only be family tonight. You brought him into the kitchen and sat him down for lunch. Well now it was almost closer to dinner, but that didn’t matter. All that mattered was that you were all here. Pamela entered shortly after.

“Good Evening Pamela, Happy Mothers Day! I hope you’ll enjoy the food your lovely son prepared for us.” You said.

Pam gave you a knowing smile, she knew you made everything, but she wasn’t going to correct you. Jason on the other hand was bewildered. He had forgotten about today and you saved him. He adored you for that.

“Isn’t that right Lovey, you wanted to show your mother just how much you appreciate everything she does for us?”

He nodded, smiling up at you.

“We’ll thank you, you two. This is truly the best gift I could have asked for.”

Pam gave each of you a kiss on the forehead before sitting down to join you for the night festivities. There was just enough love in her heart for the both of you.

Wendy Torrance:

You and Danny sat on the edge of the bed. You helped your little brother put on his shoes, and straighten his sweater vest.

“We’ll aren’t you a handsome boy?”

He giggled as you tickled into his sides. You lifted him up off the bed and set him straight towards the door.

“Danny!” You shouted after him as he excitedly left the room.

He came skipping back towards you.

“The flowers.” You pointed to the nightstand.

“Oh right!”

He grabbed them and went running down the stairs to where your mother was inevitably waiting. She’d be unready for his surprise attack. You followed suit, fixing your outfit and carrying the small box in your hands. As you made you way to the kitchen you heard the infectious giggle of your brother. He ran from your mom, hiding behind you.

“Little monster got apple juice on my dress”. She laughed

“Oh did he now?”

You picked up your brother, giving him a kiss on the cheek. Then you made your way to your mom, doing the same to her and sliding her her gift.

“Happy Mothers Day Mama!”

“Oh My Sweets, you didn’t have to.”

“But Daddy always got you gifts Mommy” Danny said.

“He did, didn’t he. Well what did you get me?”

“That would ruin the surprise, silly.”

So you watched as your mom ripped into the gift, her eyes practically sparkling when she saw it. It was a silver bracelet with a charm that had each of your initials on it.

“Oh I love it, but not as much as I love my two most favourite people in the whole world.” She pulled you two into a hug.

“Now, let’s eat!”
